YOUNG 5 AND KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 5 EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO REGISTER FOR FALL 2020 Y5 & KG On Feburary 25th, the Y5-2 principals will host building tours from 6:00pm- 7:00pm, followed by an information session. This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions about curriculum, school readiness, and to help you decide whether young 5 or kindergarten would be a better fit for your child. This event is for adults only. On March 1st, we will open online pre-registration for fall 2020. Families can complete the registration information online using the registration gateway at this link: registration.dexterschools.org. PLEASE NOTE: Completing online registration does not guarantee placement for Young 5 -or- for schools of choice students. You must line up on the designated day of roundup for your group. The schools of choice application window dates will be posted on our website in January, 2019. The first window will be complete prior to Roundup. SCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE 7 AFTER SCHOOL CARE NO-SCHOOL DAY PROGRAMS Dexter Community Education Child Care is a support service provided Dexter Community Education offers child care on most of the District’s for working families which includes after school care and non-school day scheduled no school days for Young Five through the sixth grade. Age- special programs. We specialize in “out-of school time” enrichment and appropriate activities are planned including: indoor or outdoor group recreation programs for Young Five to Grade 6. Our child care services are games, off-site field trips, in-house presentations, craft projects, movies licensed by the state and we employ qualified, experienced, caring staff and lots of other fun! The program is located at Bates School. Half day to offer fun activities specifically designed for each grade level. Children participants from Anchor, Beacon, and Wylie will be escorted to Bates by participate in age-appropriate activities, games, projects, and indoor & Care Staff. Creekside students ride the bus to the hub and walk around outdoor play. They will have time for reading and homework by choice, to the Bates entrance. On full days, all students are dropped off at Bates. as well as free time to build social skills and share interests and talents.
