Amway Recognitions F O U N D E R S D I A M O N D Congratulations Kannalin Piyanantawarin (Pam) & Chaweang Kunchayangkul (Chris) Keep learning Kannalin and Chaweang, Amway new Founders Diamonds, admit they didn’t really like talking to new people before they joined Amway. “We were complete introverts, meeting and talking with strangers made us uncomfortable. It’s a character trait we always thought was impossible to change. Along the way, after realising just how much we could help change people’s lives for the better we became more open to telling others about the products and the business,” said Kannalin. Changing this mindset led them onto the pathway to success as well as learning what helps to build a strong business. Being flexible and adapting to change are keys to business success in any industry but there’s one other attribute that’s crucial in this business: continuous learning. “We’ve achieved success in this business because we’ve been learning constantly. We’ve not stopped learning just because we’ve achieved higher pins. When most people achieve a certain level they stop learning without realising it. They think they’ve learnt all there is to know. We’re always working on improving our business knowledge and skills every day and that’s what has helped us get so far,” said Chaweang. Live better lives The couple said their most important accomplishment as IBOs is helping others better their lives. “We’ve helped improve the lives of our downlines supported them to build sustainable businesses, and see them grow and develop in many positive ways. Our downline keeps us motivated to work daily. If we’re not constantly working then our knowledge and teaching methods will eventually become obsolete. If we’re not learning and improving constantly then we might lose touch with people in the business.” Tools and technologies A sustainable business needs mentoring, the right technologies and support. Amway digital technology, social media and the Amway business centre play a big role in helping them and their teams to build strong businesses. “Our business is global so MyBiz is very important for us to monitor the different markets. It’s mainly what we use,” said Chaweang. For Kannalin, social media helps in building a branded and visible business. Amway Recognitions F O U N D E R S D I A M O N D Congratulations Ben & Jani Physick Following your passion It was a weekend seminar and a passionate IBO that changed the Physicks’ lives some years ago and inspired them to start their Amway business. At that point, Ben was running a personal training business and Jani was working full time. Today, the couple have achieved Founders Diamond; an enviable level in the business which will provide financial security for their family’s future. More importantly, Ben and Jani have helped many people regain good health by promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. Social collaboration In order to build a strong team and keep people connected to each other, Ben and Jani have always focused on bringing people together through events. “We’re also doing what we call ‘social collaboration’ where we connect with people through social media. We run and manage a private group on Facebook, do Facebook Live videos, use Messenger to share tips, product information and insights so our teams (especially those in regional areas) feel a sense of community as we don’t (physically) see them often,” said Jani. The couple have connected and grown an engaged audience by adding value to their messaging on social media. They started by creating a personal brand on different social media platforms to position themselves as recognisable leaders in the health and wellness industry. Value add content “We talk about things that we think people want to learn like health principles. Then at the higher end, we do a lot of training. We record live events which people can view later when they’re ready or comment in real time, so they feel as though they’re a part of the actual presentation. We share casual, fun community-based videos and interactions that make people feel at ease and want to interact with us,” said the couple. What new products are the pair excited about? “We’re looking forward to the new XS™ Energy Drinks flavours, some new nutrition products and of course NUTRIWAY® Probiotic!” Definition of success With the couple experiencing success at such a high level in the business, has their definition of success changed since they first became IBOs? “In the early days, I’d probably defined it as things you could acquire in life, perhaps some of the levels that we could reach in terms of the business and the money we could make. Today it’s about purpose, significance and making a difference in other people’s lives. It’s also achieving small goals that we set ourselves along the way - having a balanced life and being a better parent and husband,” said Ben. For Jani, success means having choices. “My definition of success is creating the choices for us as a family, the opportunities and experiences that we can then pass on to our kids. Because while it’s wonderful to be wealthy and have many financial options, it’s another thing to be able to have time to spend with your family doing what you want.” Success formula The Physicks have achieved many milestones in their business. Amway Recognitions F O U N D E R S E M E R A L D Congratulations Nicole Baines Nicole Baines admits that she started her Amway business with some doubts about how much she could actually achieve. “However, as my business grew, the doubts began to disappear. All the things I’d been promised began to materialise. My trust and belief in the Amway opportunity grew to the point where I realised that whilst it was a simple business, it had the potential to deliver so much! It was when I achieved Founders Platinum that I realised there was no reason why I couldn’t make it all the way to Diamond!” The business has proved to be a wonderful blessing for Nicole in many unexpected ways. Since achieving Founders Emerald, Nicole’s life has changed dramatically. “Now I have an ongoing income which has provided much needed income security for our family. Not that long ago, we had trouble finding money for rent payments, but now we are looking to buy our own home for the very first time and won’t ever need to rent again,” Nicole said.
