Director’s Message While winter weather in Crystal can be challenging, we predict there will be something in this brochure that will interest you. The largest sledding hill in the area is at Valley Place Park, where there is a 100% chance of great runs, and the newly remodeled warming house will help get the chill out. There will also be a blizzard of activity at North Lions Park, where there is a sledding hill, as well as a new hockey rink and free skate area. A flurry of programs are planned this winter as well, including the popular Donut Make You Wonder programs and Winter Break Challenge. We invite you to make tracks to a park or one of the many fun programs offered here. Our goal is to provide a quality recreation experience for you and your family; and all people who live, work or visit the City of Crystal. Winter is a great time to bundle up and enjoy all that the season has to offer in Crystal.
