University of Almería (UAL) is located in southeast Spain, in the
region of Andalusia. Founded in 1993, University of Almería offers
34 Bachelor, 44 Master and 14 PhD programmes, as well as an
extensive curricular training for their +13.000 graduate and
undergraduate students.
Our highly skilled Faculty has at their disposal state-of-the-art
facilities and equipment for their classes. UAL Campus is located
next to the Mediterranean Sea and enjoys a mild Mediterranean
climate throughout the year. Furthermore, the city and province
of Almería offers a safe, convenient and welcoming environment,
full of unique natural resources, cultural and leisure activities and a
well-established tradition of work and entrepeneurship.

University of Almeria understands the importance of learning goes beyond classroom walls. In
order to fully understand European history and Spanish passion, they will offer an array of
cultural activities designed to help expand student knowledge including a city tour that
highlights the historical center of the city, a trip to Cabo de Gata Natural Park (a UNESCO
protected Global Geopark), a guided visit to Almería War Shelters (the largest subterranean
shelters in Europe), and a trip to Granada and Alhambra, one of Islam most important
architectural feats.
