WELCOME TO FACE 2019 FROM FRIDAY 7 JUNE UNTIL SATURDAY 8 JUNE AT THE QEII CENTRE IN WESTMINSTER, LONDON On behalf of Euromedicom, Informa and the Scientific Committee, we would like to wish you a very warm welcome to FACE 2019, the UK’s Premier Facial Aesthetic Conference and Exhibition. Over the last 17 years FACE has grown to become one of the leading aesthetic conferences in the world. With over 130 national and international speakers and a comprehensive agenda format FACE continues to dominate the premium UK market of medical aesthetics. It is recognized as one of the key dates in the calendar for anyone involved in the aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine. Once again FACE is at the forefront of aesthetics and is delivering the strongest program to date featuring 8 main agendas: Injectables, Skin, Equipment, Threads, Business, Hair, Aesthetic Gynaecology and sponsored Workshops agendas. The FACE 2019 weekend adopts a similar format to previous years with lectures across different agendas taking place throughout the day, along with exhibitor workshops. However, in 2019 we will try and combat the oldest problem: having too much choice. The Injectables Pre-Course has been combined with the main Injectables Agenda into the two-day Advanced Injectables Master-Class. The Business agenda will run on Saturday only and Hair and Aesthetic Gynaecology agendas are now half-day forums. We hope a more concise program will help you make the most of it. We are truly grateful to all the UK based and international speakers who contribute to making FACE a unique aesthetic event where delegates can network with and learn from some of the most experienced and successful aesthetic educators in the world. The exhibition area and exhibitor workshops provide insight into the latest and most innovative medical aesthetic products and services. We are grateful to our sponsors and exhibitors for their support and encourage you to visit them in the Exhibition Hall on the 3 rd floor and attend their workshops on the 2 nd and 4 th floors of the venue. With two days of high-quality content and the largest choice of agendas and workshops of any UK event, FACE really does provide something for everybody who wants to advance their skills and knowledge, as the non-surgical aesthetics sector continues to deliver and evolve. We hope that you have a wonderful FACE 2019! Yours Sincerely, Catherine DECUYPER & Christophe LUINO Managing Directors 2

2 DAY SKIN Agenda F RIDAY/S AT U RDAY, W E S T MIN S T E R ROOM - 4 T H F LOO R The use of prescription and non-prescription topical products to support in clinic treatments is a critical component of enhancing and maintaining results for your patients. With the hundreds of competing skincare lines now available and promoted to aesthetic clinics around the world, it can be challenging to draw conclusions about which brands to invest in using the advice of company representatives and promotional literature alone. FACE provides a forum for practitioners to meet the industry experts who truly understand ingredients, formulations and the arguments behind competing concepts and brands. As cosmeceuticals, skin peels and medical retail skincare lines continue to be an important aspect of providing a complete approach to anti-ageing, this two-day forum will help practitioners to review the latest topical approaches to preventing and treating signs and symptoms of ageing skin alongside the latest specific protocols for treating acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation in skin of colour. 19
