Technology Zones Internet of Things India expo The 2nd Internet of Things expo was co-located with 26th Convergence India organized by Exhibitions India Group. The event attracted 4600 + visitors across 3 days with 78 exhibiting participants, an increase of 100 % compared to the previous year and firmly cementing the show as one of the leading IoT event in India. The conference boasted some great keynote presentations from leaders of IoT ecosystem including SAP, SENRA, Sigfox, PTC, Panasonic, GE Healthcare, Philips, Microsoft, NXP, Genpact, Ericsson plus many more with 10 sessions focused on industrial and consumer IoT verticals such as AR/VR, AI, Blockchain, Robotics wearables, healthcare, connected cars, manufacturing 4.0, multimodal Smart transport, Supply chain and logistics & smart homes. The packed-out exhibition hall featured exhibitors and start- ups showcasing solutions on AR/VR, Robotics, connected cars, connected bikes, Mobility & Logistics, Home automation, Smart wearables, Industrial IoT solutions. The expo’s major attractions were “Mitra” the humanoid robot and the launch of World’s first Chai making robot “Hi Arya”. Konecthingz hands on workshops covering Smart Agri, AR/ VR, Blockchain, Smart Mobility, Smart Home & Connected Wearables were well attended by IoT enthusiast both from academia & corporate world. Mobile & Accessories Zone had 27 companies displaying mobile ecosystem including mobile devices, wearables & accessories under one roof. With demo of latest devices and accessories, it allowed manufacturers to present their products direct to distributors and large retailers, thus creating a useful networking & business platform for buyers and suppliers. SATCOM Pavilion had 35 companies exhibiting latest technologies in the satellite communications. It attracted visitors from Satellite operators, Broadcasters, DTH service providers, user organizations such as Banks, Oil & Gas, Defense & Security forces, Government representatives, Telecom service providers etc.
