A Message from Parks Director, Maria P. Giustizia Dear Resident, As we look forward to spring, the Patchogue Parks & Recreation team has been hard at work for you and your family. We have carefully restructured our programming to provide you with summer activities that are both safe and fun. Come join us once again for our 17th annual free summer concert series at Shorefront Park. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our 39th annual ‘Snapper Derby’ & my family favorite our ‘Old Timer’s Softball Game’. As you can see, our program guide has something for nearly every age and interest. Maybe you’ve been thinking about trying something new? Adults can try their hand at yoga on the beach or singing bowl meditation. We also offer youth sailing and ‘American Red Cross’ swim lessons. It is important to us that we continue to provide all our residents and those in the surrounding community with programs that will enrich their lives. Patchogue Parks & Recreation has you covered for all of your summer fun in the sun. See you at the park! Sincerely, Maria P. Giustizia Director of Recreation & Parks A Message from Village Hall Dear Resident, The Village of Patchogue has a rich history of providing the best in recreation for our residents, and 2022 is no exception. It is with great pleasure to report that many of the summer programs that you and your family enjoy are returning along with some new additions. Once again, it’s “fun in the sun” time in Patchogue. Returning programs... Patchogue Beach Club, Kids Swim Lessons, Guard Start, Youth Sailing, Fun in the Sun, Sports and Soccer Camps, Basketball Clinic, Youth Cultural Arts Workshop and new for kids… Lacrosse. And, more for Adults… Pickle Ball Season Pass, Meditation and Yoga. New for adults is the Boater Safety Course (in partnership with Patchogue Power Bay Squadron), and for the entire family… our Summer Concert Series – 6 shows through July and August! Pickleballers and tennis players will be happy to know that the Four Sisters courts will be completely renovated for the first time. We will be breaking ground in early spring and expect work to be completed before this summer season begins. In Patchogue Beach Club news, funding has been secured for a “Splash Pad” water spray park. The engineering process has begun and we will break ground this fall with a Summer 2023 opening. Finally, I hope that you and your family will take advantage of all the great things that we have to offer and I’d like to wish all of you a safe and fun-filled summer in the Village of Patchogue. Sincerely, Mayor Paul Pontieri
