You will have the opportunity to gain experience working on the following aircraft: King Air 200 and 300/350, Cessna
208, Dornier 228, Single Otter, DHC2 Beaver, Cessna 172 and Piper Seneca 3. Develop competencies in the

ColdAcre Food System designs, builds and operates agricultural units in Whitehorse, Yukon. The produce we grow
supplies local supermarkets, restaurants, and a weekly subscription box service called Winter Harvest. The Food
Systems Technicians main role will be to support the operation of our growing systems that produce leafy greens,
herbs and microgreens. This position will participate in all aspects of food production, from seeding and plant care to
packaging and delivery. This position will also assist with the regular preventative maintenance of our hydroponic
systems, living walls, and microgreen growing units while working with other team members to ensure environmental
health regulations are followed and documented. The Food Systems Technician may also help with the fabrication
side of the business by assisting to build custom agricultural units. The ideal Food Systems Technician will have the

STEP-22008-P STUDENT BIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN (2 POSITIONS)
EDI ENVIRONMENTAL DYNAMICS INC.
The Biological Technician will participate in a number of natural resource projects. The technician will work with a
team responsible for completing field data collection and data entry. It is expected that for two months of the summer
the technician will work shifts at various Chinook salmon sonar counting stations/camps where fish are counted on
computers and some fish sampling is completed. Assistance with fish, wildlife and vegetation inventories, water
quality sampling and hydrology projects will be required. The Biological Technician will be given various roles in a
number of natural resource projects and will assist in the planning, logistics, problem-solving and executing natural
resource projects. The Student Biological Technician must be adaptable, willing to travel for periods upwards of two
weeks, work long hours and be prepared to assist with a number of projects. The candidate must have the ability to

STEP-22010-P ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN (2 POSITIONS)
ENSERO SOLUTIONS
Reporting to the Environmental Manager II, this role is responsible to support environmental data collection at various
projects around the Yukon. Project sites are in some of the most remote and beautiful wilderness areas of the territory.
Duties include environmental data collection for mine and mine reclamation projects. Access to sites will be by truck,
helicopter and will require some hiking. Responsibilities will include environmental field sampling, data entry, data
management, equipment maintenance and related office tasks. The student will be directed day-to-day by the senior
manager and supported in the field by the field lead and project manager, though this work may require independent
work at times. The ability to organize, act cooperatively, be a good team member and be accountable is highly valued
in this position. Specific responsibilities may include: remote field sampling and environmental data collection for
surface water, ground water, air quality, meteorology and natural sciences; working with a fun and dynamic group of
scientists and engineers to learn about the environmental assessment process in the Yukon and specific data

our camp. This includes registering campers, communicating with parents, training, supporting 6 Day Camp Leaders,

Gwaandak Theatre’s Student Associate Artist (SAA) will learn about and be involved in all aspects of running a not-
for-profit professional theatre company in the Yukon. Working closely with the Artistic Director, Producer, and
Administration and Operational Manager, they will assist with the development an execution of Gwaandak’s spring
and summer programming, including the Awaken Festival and Indigenous Summer Play Readings. They will have the
opportunity to build their leader ship skills as they building facilitate Gwaandak Inaugural Youth Council. They will
learn about various municipal, territorial, and national funding sources and assist with grant writing in sponsorship
campaigns; they will attend board meetings to learn about company governance; they will assist with marketing and
communications. The SAA will be someone with an interest in theatre and/or arts administration. They will have a
strong organizational, time management and communication skills, as well as a spirit of curiosity and passion for
working collaboratively. The SAA will have the opportunity to connect with and learn from trained theatre

The Camp Director will plan, organized and carry out daily camp activities for campers aged 7 to 14 with learning,
