RING 1: Show Jumping Starting at 9.30 am CLASS 1A: 50 cm Jumping — pony CLASS 1B: 50 cm Jumping — horse CLASS 2A: 60 cm Jumping — pony CLASS 2B: 60 cm Jumping — horse CLASS 3A: 70 cm Jumping — pony CLASS 3B: 70 cm Jumping — horse The following classes will not start before 1.00pm CLASS 4A: 75 cm Jumping — pony CLASS 4B: 75 cm Jumping — horse CLASS 5: 80 cm Jumping (horse and pony) CLASS 6: 90 cm Jumping (horse and pony) All classes will run as single phase. The courses are built and run by a qualified course builder. Classes 1, 2 and 3 are suitable for novices. The course will have inviting lines, no fillers or water trays and one double. Classes 4, 5 and 6 will introduce fillers, skinnies and combination fences. • All classes are open to horses (over 14.2hh) and ponies (14.2hh and under). • Sections A and B will be run at the same time in each class. • Horse/rider combinations riding in Class 1 may NOT enter Classes 5 or 6. • Competitors in Ring 2 may not compete in Classes 2 – 6 at the same show. • Horses/ponies may enter a maximum of 3 show jumping classes.

Ring 2: 12 Years and Under Show Jumping Starting at 9.30 am CLASS 7: 20 cm Jumping — split lead rein and non-lead rein CLASS 8: 30 cm Jumping — split lead rein and non-lead rein The following classes will not start before 11.00 am CLASS 9: 40 cm Jumping — may be lead CLASS 10: 50 cm Jumping The following classes will not start before 2.00 pm CLASS 11: 60 cm Jumping CLASS 12: 70 cm Jumping CLASS 13: Open Jumping approx 75cm • Classes 7, 8 and 9 are for beginners, over a shortened course, and the judge may refuse entry to experienced competitors. • Pony/rider combinations competing in Class 7 or 8 may NOT compete in Classes 11 to 13. • Pony/rider combinations competing in Class 9 may NOT compete in Class 13. • A pony/rider combination may enter a maximum of 3 show jumping classes. • Competitors in Ring 2 may not compete in Classes 2-6 in Ring 1 at the same show. • No spurs allowed in this ring. • Classes will be run as single phase. Single phase jumping This is a course of 12/14 fences, the first 6 to 7 obstacles are jumped at the class height. All riders then continue into the timed jump off phase of the course where jumps may be raised by up to 5cm.

Ring 6: Gymkhana Games Starting at 2:30pm Group A - 4 years & under, on lead rein Group B - 5 to 7 years, on lead rein Group C - 8 to 10 years, on lead rein Group D - 6 to 13 years, off lead rein Group E - Open to all There will be four games in each group. The games will be shown on Facebook before the show and displayed in the entry tent. • The rider’s age for this season is their age on 1st January 2022. • No whips or spurs allowed. • One set of championship points per show will be awarded for each group in this ring. • Pony / rider combination may only compete in one group at the same show. • Failure to comply with judge’s directions may lead to elimination. Equifest Qualifiers Equifest qualifying classes are marked EQ in the schedule The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship class to be held at the East of England Showground on the 18th – 20th August 2022. See their website www.equifest.org.uk for details. You and your horse must meet the class eligibility criteria shown below to qualify. Qualification for Equifest also qualifies for you for TSR and BSPA shows. 1. EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN COBS Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as follows: Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age. Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age. 18. EQUIFEST OPEN MAXI COBS Open Maxi Cobs, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 155cms – to be judged as Cobs. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
19. EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN HUNTERS Open Ridden Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 153cms. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as follows: Lightweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying up to 12.7 stone. Middleweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying 12.7 stone but not 14 stone. Heavyweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over capable of carrying over 14 stone. 20. EQUIFEST OPEN SMALL HUNTERS Open Small Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 158cms. Riders any age. 21. EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN PART BREDS Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Exhibits in this section must be registered in the Part Bred section of their respective Breed Society. Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form. Horses and ponies will not be ridden at the final. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as appropriate. 22. EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championship subject to their show rules & conditions. Classes may be divided according to entries. 23. EQUIFEST IN HAND PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open in Hand Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championships subject to their show rules & conditions Classes may be divided according to entries. 25. JUNIOR RIDDEN MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND Mares and geldings, 4 years old & over, registered in the respective pure bred Stud Books of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland and Welsh Section A,B,C & D. Riders of Small Breeds not to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Riders st of Large Breeds not to have attained their 18th birthday before 1 January in the current year.
Club Rules • The judges decision is final. • The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class, refuse entry, withhold a prize or disqualify a competitor at any time and for any reason. • Any abuse of a horse or misuse of a whip, failure to obey an order from a judge, steward or committee member or discourteous behaviour may result in dismissal from the show ground. • Neither the organisers or land owners accept any liability for any accident, injury or illness to any animal, spectator, other persons or property whatsoever. • The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the show at short notice in the event of adverse conditions. Information will be posted on our website and Facebook page. • Any complaint must be made in writing and lodged with the Chairman within 30 minutes of an alleged incident. It must be accompanied by £10 which will be refunded if the complaint is upheld. • It is the responsibility of the competitor to be in the correct ring at the correct time. Late arrival may result in disqualification. • Competitors jumping the practice jump may not jump above the height of the class being run. • Show jackets must be worn when show jumping and competitors must wear correct footwear at all times. We strongly recommend the use of body protectors. • Correctly fitting hard hats marked PAS 015 or VG1 plus BSI kitemark must be worn at all times when mounted, loading and by handlers 12 years old and under. • All ridden animals are to be 4 years old or over. • All stallions and colts must wear identifying badges. • The rider’s age is as on 1st January 2022. • Dogs Must be Kept on a Lead at All Times • Please Take Your Litter Home
