About the MIT AAA The MIT Arab Alumni Association, also known as the MIT AAA, is a non-profit educational organization, on a mission to bring MIT’s rigor and opportunities to the Arab world, and to bring the Arab world’s talent and energy to MIT. Part of the MIT AAA’s activities is to host annual conferences and activities, that aim to bring together interested parties from around the world that are concerned with each conference’s theme, acting as a platform for world experts and business leaders to highlight impactful efforts, exchange knowledge, uncover technologies, and propose the most innovative solutions to face regional challenges. Speakers and attendees of the MIT Pan-Arab Conferences always include MIT leaders and faculty, heads of state and senior government officials, thematic experts, leaders of global corporations, distinguished MIT alumni from around the world, and other interested stakeholders. The MIT Pan-Arab Conferences offer a unique opportunity for sponsors to tap into a unique group of industry experts in a focused and dynamic event. The MIT AAA has successfully organized eight regional conferences, in Cairo, Amman, Beirut, Dubai, Tunis, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Kuwait. In recognition for its efforts in organizing the conferences, the MIT AAA was awarded the Presidential Citation by the MIT Alumni Association. Details can be found in the “Information on past events” section of this document”. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and with the limitations on travel and wanting to still bring our mission and vision to the Arab world, the MIT AAA increased its efforts in digital events and networking opportunities, these efforts include: the launch of our “unliMITed” podcast, bi-weekly newsletters. More information about our events can be found online on: https://mitaaa.alumgroup.mit.edu/ 2021 Webinar Series As part of the digital events, the MIT AAA will be hosting a monthly Webinar Series, whereby each webinar will have a different theme and host a panel of experts and MIT Alumni from the region and abroad. The series will be made up of 10 webinar events. Sponsorship Tiers For the webinar series of 2021, the MIT AAA offers several sponsorship levels, allowing each sponsor to better align their preferences and budgetary considerations. These include: A full partner that has access to list of digital events and Gold Partner speakers. Their role and logo will be predominant in all Offered at: $15,000 : webinar events and social media posts related. Their logo will Limit: 1 Term: Annual appear in the moderators’ backdrop. They can also feature a speaker for one of the events and a podcast episode. The highest level for general sponsorship, providing a Silver Partner commensurately advance level of benefits. The silver partner Offered at: $6,000 : is recognized during the webinar events, and have their logo Limit: 2 Term: Annual mentioned in the registration page and post event email. The silver sponsors can nominate a speaker for one of the events. This sponsorship is targeted at a specific one of event. The Event Partner contributor’s logos will be mentioned in social media posts, Offered at: $2,000 : promotions, and registration page to one specific event. The Term: Event Event Partner may nominate a speaker from their side for that event. Media Partner The media partner provides in-kind support in the form of Offered at: $- complimentary advertising space and/ or supports the with : Limit: 1 the dissemination of marketing materials. Sponsorship Benefits All sponsors are acknowledged in press coverage that MIT AAA distributes, as well as across all the social media Recognition : channels that MIT AAA operates on (website, LI, FB, IG, Twitter, email). Advertising : Mentions during the webinar by the host. Logo on Display : Sponsor’s logo to be displayed during webinar. Contacts Details : Webinar registrations will be shared after the live event. MIT AAA will include webinar’s recording in its webinar archives and social media channels for extended reach. Thus Extended Reach : giving the sponsor a long lasting recognition and association with the MIT AAA. Sponsor Responsibilities: Please ensure to provide us with the following: • Any presentation content to be distributed to registrants. • Company logo, 72-dpi jpg or gif fil to fit 252 x 80 pixels. • Company URL link. • Company or product description of 50 words or less. • Reshare Posts Terms & Conditions 1. MIT AAA retains the exclusive right to approve sponsorship applications. 2. After approval and written acceptance from MIT AAA, the sponsor must provide the sponsorship funds and materials in accordance with the deadline on page 7. 3. Delayed sponsorship payments may result in a loss of certain benefits, specifically those related to Recognition, Advertisement, Promotion, and others. 4. No sponsorship pledges will be processed without cleared payment. Funds must be paid in US Dollars. 5. Sponsors may not sublet, assign or apportion any part of the sponsor benefits nor represent, advertise, or distribute literature or materials for the products or services of any other firm or organization except as approved in writing by MIT AAA. 6. All sponsor-provided materials (inserts, signage, advertisements, giveaways, and content about sponsor) are subject to review and approval by MIT AAA as per the deadlines on page 7. 7. MIT AAA reserves the right to make changes in the sponsorship proposal, provided the committed sponsors are given ample time to retract or modify their sponsorship without incurring any charges. 8.
