2021 PROGRAM January - August
OVERVIEW THE CHALLENGE To develop and empower men to become God Honoring, Christ centered, and character driven men worth imitating. To be the kinds of sons of God, husbands to their wives, fathers to the children, and men worth following that is both inspirational and pleasing to God. Two major components of Men of Honor we use to help orchestrate this are discipline and accountability. It will require discipline to complete the assignments and there will be public accountability for those assignments. PURPOSE The Men of Honor program is not an open men’s meeting but a strategic discipleship process designed to build godly men as well as strong, dependable, and kingdom minded leaders. REQUIREMENTS • Be a consistent TDC attender • Be at least 18 years of age • Read assigned books in 8 months • Complete 8 writing assignments • Meet once a month for a leadership session with PB • Meet at least once a month with an accountability crew • Be an active volunteer on a Serve Team • Must be signed up to serve by ______, if not already on a Serve Team • Absence Policy If you will be missing any of the meetings, it will be necessary for you to contact Pastor Boyd to let him know. You are allowed to miss one meeting during the program. • Book Expense: $125.00 // In order to offset cost for reading materials and dinner banquet, MOH has a nominal upfront fee to cover resources. We shifted to the fee on the front end, because the monthly reminder to bring $10 was too complicated.
