Hey everybody! I hope everyone is healthy and safe. The baseball off-season has started
slowly since there wasn’t a real ‘winter meetings’ this year. Still, there has been some movement
as the first trades and free agent signings have occurred. A few roto teams have been affected in
the early going. A quick look at our rosters sees a few teams littered with free agents or American
Leaguers. That promises to make the next auction a longer one since there will be that many more
roster spots to fill.
As for the auction, it isn’t clear if we will be able to meet in person or not, but since Zoom has
become the standard communication method for most of us, that shouldn’t pose a big problem.
For now, we won’t focus on where the auction will take place, but I will contact each of you to
scope out a few dates for the event. Enjoy the holidays in the best way you can and stay healthy
until this thing is over.
