ABOUT CALGARY PRIDE With more than 40 years of history, Calgary Pride is a volunteer led, non-profit organization with significant roots in Calgary and passionate commitment to the communities we serve. Calgary Pride’s mandate is to advance visibility and inclusion for Calgary’s gender and sexually diverse communities. To do this we endeavour to build strong community partnerships, implement ongoing year round programming and produce the 4th largest Pride celebration in Canada. In order to achieve success we rely upon the generous support of our members and community partners. You ensure that we can continue to offer a free annual celebration of diversity to all Calgarians. And your investment allows us to offer enhanced programming throughout the year, bringing us closer to a city free from discrimination against gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
We believe that partnerships such as yours are monumentally impactful in fostering strong community connections, and continue to fortify the human rights movement. We take great care in working with our partners to curate engagement and recognition strategies that speak to the core values of both organizations, and that convey this authentically to the LGBTQ2S+ community and their allies.

EVOLVE: PRIDE AMPLIFIED NOVEMBER 2020 This initiative is one part programming for queer kids, one part fundraising gala for city-wide programs in support of mental health and resiliency building programs for queer youth; our organization was overjoyed with the enthusiasm we heard from adults and kiddos alike. Last year we raised $55,000 to support our very own Reading with Royalty program and charitable partners, The Skipping Stone Foundation, Camp Fyrefly and Calgary Queer Arts Society who are creating amazing spaces and experiences for queer youth each and every day! This year we are also supporting The Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary who provide the only support for homeless LGBTQ2S+ Youth in Calgary. QUEERLY FESTIVE: DINNER & SHOW DECEMBER 2020 As winter settles itself in each year and the holiday season comes into full swing, we understand that it can become an incredibly difficult time for some. Many members of the LGBTQ2S+ community find themselves displaced and without family, which is further exacerbated during Christmas. To combat this, we are pleased to produce annually a holiday dinner and show, with entry by donation. We want to ensure that each and every person within our community has an opportunity to take part, connect with friends, meet new ones, and celebrate our diversity!
