PRESIDENTS MESSAGE Welcome to the 2020 indoor bowls year. The 2019 season saw Otago winning the Women’s Eights and Paterson Trophies, also defeating Canterbury for a third year in a row and being triumphant in all other representative games except one – (Team A Southland) This year Otago are hosting two national events the Otago v North Island and the National Henselite Singles. It has been a number of years since Otago has hosted a National Event and it is an opportunity for us to show off our venue and the committed people who make this all possible. So, I urge all bowlers to come along and support these events. This year we have the fives replacing the sevens in the interclub competition and it is great to see a good number of clubs entered. I wish all the best to all bowlers for the season Brent Sinclair President 4
