About Us Innovative Group based in Bangalore is engaged in Film & Entertainment activities for over two decades. It is led by its Founder, Chairman, Mr. Saravana Prasad. Innovative has established its presence in the South Indian Film Industry by way of exhibition, distribution, production and entertainment. The Group has countless associations with leading Production & Media houses such as Suresh Productions, Viacom 18, Global Agencies, Endemol India, Zee Entertainment, Star Suvarna, Pixel Pictures, Golden Amber, Allu Entertainment, Rockline Productions, V-Creations, etc. More than 500 ilms have been shot at Innovative ilm City and Famous Reality Shows such as Bigg Boss, Dancing Star, Super Minute, Suvarna Awards, Anubandha Awards, Colors Super Channel Launch, Saregama Zee, Star Super Singer, Star Parivaar Awards, Fiction Shows, etc. have been produced & hosted in the Innovative Campus. The group is of icially associated with International Film Festival of India, Directorate of Film Festivals of India for organizing Master Classes in ilm festivals. Innovative Film City The Group takes the pride of establishing Innovative Film City, a renowned tourism landmark situated in Bangalore. Operational since a decade it entertains close to a million visitors per annum. Actors, Directors, Producers participated in the festivalInnovative Film Academy Innovative Film Academy is af iliated to Bangalore University and offers UG & PG Courses in Filmmaking along with weekend workshops & other short term courses to young ilmmaking enthusiasts. The academy lays special emphasis on practical training for its students. During their term the students get unlimited access to the studios and labs for hands-on training. Innovative Film Academy organizes engrossing master classes with industry veterans and successful ilmmakers who share their experiences and formula of success with the upcoming and aspiring students of the academy. Innovative Multiplex Established in the year 2003, Innovative Multiplex is the Group’s lagship project which boasts of being the irst Multiplex in South India. Located in the heart of Bangalore City, the Multiplex currently operates 9 Screens with 2900 seats and is one of the leading Box Of ice Grosser in the state of Karnataka exhibiting ilms in 7 different languages - Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Hindi & English. Innovative International Film Festival Innovative Group organizes Innovative International Film Festival (IIFF) every year in Bangalore. With its 3rd Edition of IIFF to be held from 1st May to 3rd May 2020. The festival will be conducted in its 2 venues - 6 Screens at Innovative Film City, Bidadi & 9 Screens at Innovative Multiplex, Marathalli. IIFF 2019 was a major success with 18 partnering countries & featuring 100+ well curated World Cinemas. The festival also appreciates & celebrates cinematic excellence by awarding ilm personalities in its award ceremony. Content Production IFA with its contemporary Production & post-production infrastructure, in-house technical crew & young budding students of its Academy, & access to the best of the industry professionals, is now working on multilingual content production projects with national & international partners. It is now venturing into the production of Reality Show formats in 4 different languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Malayalam. Currently, Innovative Film City is also the venue partner for the famous reality show BIGG BOSS produced in Kannada.

Innovative Film Academy Inspired by a true story
SHAKEELA is a women centric biopic of Shakeela John, South India’s
irst major porn star. The movie is made in Hindi and dubbed in four HINDI
other languages – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Malayalam. The story
covers her early life in Kerala (God’s own country) where she began TAMIL
her dominant run of ilms that stormed the box of ice and set the KANNADA
industry ablaze with her market presence and loyal fan base! Set in
the 1990’s, a conservative yet ironic time in Kerala. In fact her ilms TELUGU
were so popular, particularly in Malayalam that, every week she had
MALAYALAM
a release thus, giving tough competition to the top stars of the
industry.
As a young schoolgirl she aspired to be an actress. However, life had
dealt her a poor hand. Having lost her father young; a house of seven
children needed feeding. Poverty can be a tremendous motivator. As
a young Muslim girl in a conservative community having shot her
irst porn ilm at age 18; her perspective was unique. Being a star
herself, Shakeela was not new to love, charm or intimidation. An
avid fan of Malayalam ilm star Salim, Kerala’s top actor at the time;
Salim exerts his power on set with his predatory practices. Using his
public façade as a devout family man to cover his tail.
This ilm, directed by popular Kannada ilm Director Indrajit
Lankesh, portrays the hardships of the actress as she had to face lots
of criticism, insults and betrayals from her own family members and
the ilm fraternity who were in luential in getting her ilms banned.
Having appeared in 250 adult ilms, a “family friendly” project was
next for Shakeela. She had a story, her life and that was what she
wanted to capture. Unfortunately, the industry that pro ited so
heavily from her turned their backs. To them she was a porn star not
an actress.
