PRSRT STD US POSTAGE PAID PONTIAC MAILING 2309 Airport Rd. • Waterford, MI 48327 – Return Service Request – MISSION STATEMENT To Preserve and Promote the Vitality and Economic Growth of the Business Community in the Waterford Area. Message from the President... Thankful and grateful. The month of November is one of my favorites. It is the month of Thanksgiving, and with that comes all the reflection of what and who we are thankful for. It’s a month of counting our blessings and blessing others. While I am grateful that most people go through this time of reflection at least on Thanksgiving Day, why not do this every day? I have a journal that I write in every single night – a grateful journal. What brought pure joy to me during the day? It could be as simple as a beautiful sunrise on the way to work, my husband bringing me coffee in the morning, a coworker wishing me a blessed day. These moments of gratefulness do not have to be huge. I am not sure who said this quote, but I think about it every day, “Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you will realize they were the big things.” I know that I am personally grateful to all of you – our Chamber members, Ambassadors, and Board of Directors. It’s amazing to be surrounded by such great people who not only work together to better our community, but also to help each other grow personally and professionally. I wish each and every one of you a blessed Thanksgiving and month of reflection.
