We will depart Louisville this morning and travel to the Windy City of Chicago to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Nobody celebrates St.
Patty’s Day quite like Chicago! We will arrive in time for lunch (included) at the famous Walnut Room. After lunch, we walk next
door to Macy’s for a little retail therapy. This afternoon we visit Navy Pier, an iconic city landmark inspiring discovery and wonder.

Today is a free day to capture Chicago’s iconic sights onboard Big Bus Tours open-top sightseeing buses that grant exceptional
views of the city’s most iconic landmarks and attractions. You will have a hop on/hop off ticket that will include 14 different stops
that allow you to discover the highlights and hidden gems of Chicago at your own pace. Immerse yourself in the best of Chicago’s
unique cultural highlights. The bus will be able to take you to the best viewing of the Dyeing of the Chicago River green and also

We will depart the hotel this morning and travel to Washington, DC. Upon arriving in DC, we will have a licensed tour guide join us
for a step-on guided tour of the city. We will visit the monuments, White House Grounds, National Archives and more. Exclusive for
our group, we will have a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol. This evening experience the beauty of our Washington monuments with
Moonlight Monument Tour. We will spend the next TWO night’s right outside of Washington D.C. B

Today we will have a full day of DC! We will begin our day with a tour of Arlington Cemetery. Visit the graves of President
Kennedy and Robert Kennedy. Witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We will make a picture
stop at Iwo Jima Memorial before lunch at the Silver Diner. This afternoon, we will visit the United States Holocaust Memorial
Museum, a living memorial to the Holocaust. (Permanent exhibit included) Tonight could possibly be the highlight of the tour, a
three hour – Cherry Blossom Festival Dinner Cruise aboard the Spirit of Washington. Enjoy the best views of the Washington
Monuments, National Harbor, Old Town Alexandria and other iconic D.C. sights. A delicious dinner buffet with freshly prepared

This morning, we depart the hotel and will visit the Smithsonian Museums to tour on your own. We will depart at noon and travel
to Mount Vernon, one of the nation’s most beloved historic sites. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch in the food court or the Restaurant.
Visit the Gardens, Museum, Farm, The Tombs and Historic Trades. Mt. Vernon offers a glimpse into 18th century plantation
life through beautiful gardens and grounds honoring George Washington’s legacy and life. We will have a guided tour of
the Mansion – Home of George Washington - an American landmark and an enduring tribute to the Father of Our Country,
before departing. We will travel back to Harrisonburg, VA to overnight. B

unofficial beginning of Spring—Thunder Over Louisville, on board the Belle of Cincinnati.

Please Note: Boat will depart New Albany and head upriver through McAlpine Lock. Once through the lock, we

outside of BB Riverboats' control, there is a possibility that the boat will not be allowed to cruise above the
Portland Canal and through the downtown area before the fireworks. In that case, we will assume our fireworks

This morning we will be picked up by our friends at Old Town Savannah Trolley’s for a city tour. You get it all on this tour
– moss-draped oaks, stately mansions, beautiful squares, expansive riverfront, and over 270 years of history. You are sure
to enjoy our Lunch onboard Savannah Riverboat Cruises. A mouth-watering buffet featuring Southern brunch favorites
all while being entertained and enlightened by the captain’s narration of the landmarks along the way. Some of the most

This morning we bid farwell to Savannah and make our way through the
Smoky Mountains to Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort, unlike any other

solitude of the surrounding mountainsides. Complimentary trolley

Today, the destination is Dallas! We will grab some lunch at the Dallas Farmers Market and explore the shops. We will see Dealey Plaza
on the way to the Sixth Floor Museum. We will learn about the life, death, and legacy of President John F Kennedy. B
Wednesday - May 15, 2019
This will be a long and fun day! First, we head to Waco and tour the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum. Next stop is the Dr. Pepper
Museum featuring the drink of choice in Waco. Then it is time for shopping and food at Magnolia Market at the Silos. This place was
made famous by HGTV’s Fixer Upper stars, Chip & Joanna Gaines. Tonight, we will check-in to our Riverwalk hotel in San Antonio --
Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. Lastly, we will all enjoy a group dinner at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville. B, D
Thursday – May 16, 2019
We will explore the city with a step-on guide - Tour San Antonio. Our stops will include Mission San Jose, Aqueduct, Mission
Conception and San Fernando Cathedral. After the tour, we will have lunch and shop again—this time at Historic Market Square. The
group will enjoy an IMAX movie Alamo:The Price of Freedom at the AMC Rivercenter Theatre before going to see the real thing! We
arrive at The Alamo for an audio tour before heading back to the hotel to enjoy the complimentary Drury Kick-Back- food, snacks, and

Today offers a special treat on our trip back towards Louisville. We will stop to tour the Greenwood Plantation in
Louisiana. This plantation is historically known for its oak tree park and beautiful mansion, but they have a horse
connection to Kentucky! The group will overnight in Meridian, MS. B
Monday – May 20, 2019
Today will be the final leg to travel home! We will stop along the way to see the beautiful
scenery. You will be able to reflect back on the fun times down south and connect with
your new friends from the bus. B

Depart for the Gateway City and see the history and the importance of St. Louis to the Lewis & Clark westward expansion.
The first day will have you experience some St. Louis favorites—Blues & BBQ. You will enjoy a scrumptious lunch from
Sugarfire BBQ then walk right next door to the National Blues Museum where your guide will take you through the
incorporation of Blues in every style of music. The group will also have time at the famous Gateway Arch and its newly
renovated Gateway Arch Museum before settling down for the night at the Drury Plaza at the Arch where you get to enjoy

Wednesday - May 22, 2019
It’s time to explore the city, starting with Anheuser-Busch Grant’s Farm. This tour includes a safari ride through Deer Park,
owned by the Grant family and now the famous Busch family. We will spend some time at Bauernhof where you can walk
through the horse stables, looking at exquisite collections while drinking some FREE beer. The Budweiser Clydesdales are
also on property. Next stop, is within Jefferson Barrack’s. We will go to the Telephone Museum and truly see and stand in
a piece of history. Lunch will be at Ballpark Village with a view of Busch Stadium. The tours continue at Anheuser-Busch
Biergarden & Budwesier St. Louis Brewery, before a family-style dinner at Favazza’s on the Hill. The group will take a
second to see the light show at the historical Union Station Hotel. Finally, we will cap the night off with Ted Drewe’s

There is still more! Before leaving town, we will take a tour of the NEW Soldier’s Memorial Military Museum. This museum
is dedicated in memory of all the fallen soldiers and celebrates the brave men and women from the Revolutionary War to
the present day. The last stop on the agenda is the World Chess Hall of Fame. You will see the world’s largest chess piece
in front of the museum and explore three floors of exhibits. The Gift Shop is voted ‘Best in St. Louis’! B

runs every 20 minutes, so feel free to return to the resort to rest. So you can plan your day, with final documents, look for

Breakfast is included this morning before we depart. We will visit The Island, a terrific new shopping and entertainment
complex with more than sixty retail and specialty shops, a number of popular eateries, dancing fountains and more. We

We will depart the hotel after breakfast and visit The Museum of America and the Sea / Mystic Seaport - the largest
maritime museum in the U.S. It is notable for its collection of sailing ships and boats, and for the re-creation of the
crafts and fabric of an entire 19th century seafaring village. Lunch is a special treat at the Lobster Hut (on your own).
After lunch, we will stop at Plymouth Rock for pictures. Before checking into our hotel, we will make a stop at John

We say goodbye to Maine and enter New Hampshire’s breathtaking White Mountains to Franconia Notch State Park,
located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Enjoy a ride on the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway—an 80
passenger tram, which makes a quick ascent 2,180 vertical feet to the 4,080 foot summit. On clear days, you can see views
of four states and Canada. This afternoon we will visit Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, the standard by which all syrups are
judged. We will have a tour, visit the country store and an outdoor Vermont farm-life museum. We will overnight in Saint

Day ONE
We will depart Louisville this morning and travel north to Indianapolis for a morning break. We will continue on to Fort
Wayne, IN for lunch. Our afternoon travels take us to Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth, MI “Little

highlight of the Grand Hotel. After lunch, we will take an Island Carriage Tour. The tour ends downtown. You may go to
the hotel or visit the downtown shops. Our overnight accommodations are at the beautiful Lakeview Hotel, located in

Schoolhouse and Gravesite. We will continue traveling through Iowa and overnight in Coralville.
Monday - July 15, 2019
Monday will take us to Sioux City, Iowa. But first, we stop to learn about the cowboys and the
most famous on-screen-cowboy, John Wayne. At the John Wayne Birthplace Museum, you will
learn about the small-town local boy who grew up to be a great actor. We will stop at the Roseman
Covered Bridge that inspired “Bridges of Madison County”. B
Tuesday – July 16, 2019
You will be delighted by the visual masterpiece that is the Corn Palace. It is truly an art and cultural experience. After lunch,
we will head to South Dakota and roam the Badlands National Park. This park shows off a variety of geological wonders
formed by nature. Dinner will be a stop at the famous Wall Drug Store, known for offering free ice water during the Great
Depression. Tonight, we will rest in Rapid City, South Dakota where we will overnight for the next two nights! B, D

We will be joining a Mountain Rushmore Sight-Seeing Tour today, taking us through the Black Hills National Park. Before

Dances with Wolves which includes a full dinner + show at the the Fort Hays Chuckwagon. If that is not enough excitement,

at the Buffalo Bill Village Resort. But the fun does not stop after check-in! A shuttle bus

A real treat today, as we wonder through Yellowstone National Park. We will be
making photo op stops along the way and will get to see a couple of geysers and

Something different for our Sunday… a peaceful Scenic Float tour down the Snake River with
Mad River Boats. We will be able to see the Teton Range and other fantastic views throughout the 13-mile
float. We will then have some free time to explore Jackson before a BBQ Dinner at Bar J ChuckWagon. This
famous cowboy-themed dinner includes entertainment by the Bar J Wranglers, shops, and exhibits. D

Day One
Join Miller Transportation as we head to our Nation’s Capital for a truly momentous time! We
will begin our adventure, traveling to West Virginia and taking a lunch break at the Tamarack
Place. We will overnight in Harrisonburg, VA.
Day Two
Today will be spent all around Washington DC. We start the morning at Ford’s Theatre, before
picking up our certified step-on guide for a fun-filled day of history! First, we stop at the U.S.
Capitol Building, for a guided tour. We will then explore the city, focusing on the Monuments, the
White House, and the Smithsonian Museums. We are not done yet! We will head to the United States
Holocaust Memorial Museum (permanent exhibit included), before ending the night along the Potomac
River on the Spirit of Odyssey Dinner Cruise. We will spend the next 2 nights right outside of DC. B, D
Day Three
On our way into town, we will stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial, then continue to the Arlington National Cemetery.
Enjoy the Tram Tour until lunch, seeing the Changing of the Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We will
pick-up another certified step-on guide for the night and continue exploring Washington D.C. during the Capitol
Tour with an evening Tour of the Monuments. B
Day Four
This morning we have some time at the Smithsonian Museums for you to tour any of the Museums on your own.
Afterwards, making our way to George Washington’s home, Mount Vernon for a Mansion Tour. You will have plenty of
time to check-out the Gardens, the Museum, the Farm and the Tombs around the historic grounds. B
Day Five
The last leg of this trip will take us home with many memories of beautiful Washington D.C. B

Tuesday – August 13, 2019
This morning will start out with a *QUACK* as we watch the Duck March at the legendary Peabody Memphis Hotel. We will enjoy
an Italian lunch at Coletta’s Italian Restaurant before heading to Graceland. We will get to experience ELVIS WEEK at Graceland.
Your Elvis Experience ticket will allow you to tour the Graceland Mansion, see the exhibits at Elvis Presley’s Memphis, view Elvis’
two custom airplanes from his private collection, stop at the Presley Motors Car Museum, and enjoy the new Entertainer Career

Wednesday - August 14, 2019
Today, we will tour Memphis and learn about the history. You will be serenaded by your step-
on guide from Backbeat Tours as you experience the BIG Mojo Tour with a special stop at
Sun Studios. Next, a rockin’ lunch at Hard Rock Café Memphis. We will also take some
time to commemorate Martin Luther King Dr. at the National Civil Rights Museum.
You will have time to explore the original Lorraine Motel and the Legacy exhibits
initially before making your way across the street to the Young & Morrow and
Boarding House buildings. Later tonight, you will have a chance to enjoy Beale

Thursday - August 15, 2019
We will have to head home soon, but not before stopping to experience the
Memphis Pyramid. This one-of-a-kind shopping experience offered to you

We depart Louisville this morning for our Canyonlands of the West and
Sedona Adventure! We arrive just in time to meet our motorcoach at
McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada where we will have the
afternoon and evening to enjoy beautiful Bellagio Hotel and Casino. For those
interested, we will provide afternoon transportation to Hoover Dam.
Thursday- August 1, 2019
Saddle up for a gorgeous day of driving through amazing scenery to the lush cliff-and-
canyon landscape of Zion National Park. Here we will board a private Zion Canyon Shuttle.
Live commentary will take you through the scenic highlights of the park. We will have time for
Lunch on your own in the Visitor Center before departing for our hotel in Kanab, Utah, where we
will overnight the next TWO nights.
Friday - August 2, 2019
This morning we head to the sandstone cliffs of Bryce Canyon National Park. Take in the views from Rainbow Point,
Inspiration Point and Sunset Point as you learn what exactly a hoodoo is. We will have Lunch on your own before departing for
Kodachrome Basin State Park so named in 1948 by National Geographic because of its many colors. B
Saturday- August 3, 2019
We depart out hotel this morning and head for the less visited North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Even though it receives only
about 10% of the visitors per year, the scenery is no less beautiful. It is greener, cooler and quieter. We will have plenty of time
to explore before having lunch on the way to Horseshoe Canyon, a short walk from the road. Traveling to the far eastern rim of
the Canyon, we will stay the night at Cameron Trading Post Arizona. B
Sunday- August 4, 2019
Our adventure today starts with a visit through the Grand Canyon National Park, the largest canyon of its type in the world.
We will shuttle through the park, stopping at Bright Angel Point for Lunch before stopping at Hermit’s Rest which is as far as
the shuttle goes. We will travel on to Flagstaff, AZ to overnight.
Monday- August 5, 2019
As if there has not been enough to see on this tour, this morning we depart the Grand Canyon and travel through the Kaibab
Plateau and onto gorgeous Highway 89A viewing Oak Creek Canyon before arriving in Sedona, Arizona. We will have time
for Lunch in Sedona and shopping before departing for our afternoon excursion aboard the Verde Canyon Rail Road. We will
spend the next TWO nights in beautiful Sedona. B
Tuesday- August 6, 2019
This morning is ours to enjoy near the hotel, shopping, or simply soaking in the culture and red rocks near our hotel. Later
this afternoon, we get an up-close view of the surrounding mountainsides on a Pink Jeep Tour. We will have a farewell Dinner
tonight. B, D
Wednesday- August 7, 2019
We are transported to the Phoenix Airport for our flight home. We will have lots of pictures, new friends and memories of our
time in the West.
