B, D Saturday – April 27, 2019 This morning we will be picked up by our friends at Old Town Savannah Trolley’s for a city tour. You get it all on this tour – moss-draped oaks, stately mansions, beautiful squares, expansive riverfront, and over 270 years of history. You are sure to enjoy our Lunch onboard Savannah Riverboat Cruises. A mouth-watering buffet featuring Southern brunch favorites all while being entertained and enlightened by the captain’s narration of the landmarks along the way. We will stop at Casey Jones Village to enjoy a lunch buffet at Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store before touring the Casey Jones Railroad Museum. We will continue driving and overnight in Little Rock, AR. L Tuesday - May 14, 2019 Today, the destination is Dallas! We will grab some lunch at the Dallas Farmers Market and explore the shops. We will see Dealey Plaza on the way to the Sixth Floor Museum. We will learn about the life, death, and legacy of President John F Kennedy. B Wednesday - May 15, 2019 This will be a long and fun day! First, we head to Waco and tour the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum. Next stop is the Dr. Pepper Museum featuring the drink of choice in Waco. Then it is time for shopping and food at Magnolia Market at the Silos. This place was made famous by HGTV’s Fixer Upper stars, Chip & Joanna Gaines. Tonight, we will check-in to our Riverwalk hotel in San Antonio -- Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. Lastly, we will all enjoy a group dinner at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville. B, D Thursday – May 16, 2019 We will explore the city with a step-on guide - Tour San Antonio. Our stops will include Mission San Jose, Aqueduct, Mission Conception and San Fernando Cathedral. B Monday – May 20, 2019 Today will be the final leg to travel home! We will stop along the way to see the beautiful scenery. The first day will have you experience some St. Louis favorites—Blues & BBQ. You will enjoy a scrumptious lunch from Sugarfire BBQ then walk right next door to the National Blues Museum where your guide will take you through the incorporation of Blues in every style of music. L Wednesday - May 22, 2019 It’s time to explore the city, starting with Anheuser-Busch Grant’s Farm. Next stop, is within Jefferson Barrack’s. We will go to the Telephone Museum and truly see and stand in a piece of history. Lunch will be at Ballpark Village with a view of Busch Stadium. We will travel through Cincinnati to Columbus, OH for our lunch break. Our travels will continue on to Carlisle, PA to overnight. Tuesday – May 28, 2019 Today our travels will take us to Mystic, CT where we will have time for shopping and dinner on the waterfront before checking into our hotel for the evening. B Wednesday - May 29, 2019—breakfast included at hotel We will depart the hotel after breakfast and visit The Museum of America and the Sea / Mystic Seaport - the largest maritime museum in the U.S. It is notable for its collection of sailing ships and boats, and for the re-creation of the crafts and fabric of an entire 19th century seafaring village. Lunch is a special treat at the Lobster Hut (on your own). After lunch, we will stop at Plymouth Rock for pictures. Before checking into our hotel, we will make a stop at John F. Kennedy Memorial. We will overnight the next TWO nights at the Red Jacket Beach Resort, a beautiful full-service Cape Cod oceanfront resort on the waters of Nantucket Sound, featuring a beautiful sweep of private ocean beach. We will head to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (permanent exhibit included), before ending the night along the Potomac River on the Spirit of Odyssey Dinner Cruise. We will spend the next 2 nights right outside of DC. B, D Day Three On our way into town, we will stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial, then continue to the Arlington National Cemetery. Enjoy the Tram Tour until lunch, seeing the Changing of the Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We will pick-up another certified step-on guide for the night and continue exploring Washington D.C. during the Capitol Tour with an evening Tour of the Monuments. B Day Four This morning we have some time at the Smithsonian Museums for you to tour any of the Museums on your own. We will have Lunch on your own before departing for Kodachrome Basin State Park so named in 1948 by National Geographic because of its many colors. B Saturday- August 3, 2019 We depart out hotel this morning and head for the less visited North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Even though it receives only about 10% of the visitors per year, the scenery is no less beautiful. It is greener, cooler and quieter. We will have plenty of time to explore before having lunch on the way to Horseshoe Canyon, a short walk from the road. Traveling to the far eastern rim of the Canyon, we will stay the night at Cameron Trading Post Arizona. B Sunday- August 4, 2019 Our adventure today starts with a visit through the Grand Canyon National Park, the largest canyon of its type in the world. We will shuttle through the park, stopping at Bright Angel Point for Lunch before stopping at Hermit’s Rest which is as far as the shuttle goes. We will travel on to Flagstaff, AZ to overnight. Monday- August 5, 2019 As if there has not been enough to see on this tour, this morning we depart the Grand Canyon and travel through the Kaibab Plateau and onto gorgeous Highway 89A viewing Oak Creek Canyon before arriving in Sedona, Arizona. We will have time for Lunch in Sedona and shopping before departing for our afternoon excursion aboard the Verde Canyon Rail Road. We will spend the next TWO nights in beautiful Sedona. B Tuesday- August 6, 2019 This morning is ours to enjoy near the hotel, shopping, or simply soaking in the culture and red rocks near our hotel. Later this afternoon, we get an up-close view of the surrounding mountainsides on a Pink Jeep Tour. We will have a farewell Dinner tonight.
