Goal kicking was also pan out with the Scorpions going a problem with the Scorpions not down in four of the five games against converting two tries with kicks coming Cessnock up at a very windy and cold off the uprights, which could have Cessnock. Only the Open Grade could made a big difference late in the come away with a win to keep them game. on track to make the semi finals. The Ladies League Tag started the day and the Scorpions went down 62-0 to Cessnock. Once again the ladies showed great spirit, but unfortunately were no match. If commitment counts for anything this group of ladies would get gold medals for their efforts. A big thankyou to the Western Suburbs club for allowing the ladies to train with their ladies side on Tuesday night and putting on the sausage sizzle. Very much appreciated by everyone at the Scorpions. The Under 19s had a good lead at MATCH DAY SPONSOR halftime and appeared to be on top, but the second half saw a complete turnaround and the boys failed to complete in the second half and couldn?t come away with the win that was vital for their chances to finish in the top three at the end of the 16 rounds of the competition.
