The Southern Amputee Golf Association (SAGA) a member of the National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) is excited to bring our Regional Championship to Birmingham in May 2019. Highland Park Golf course has been selected as the host site, and the three-day event should be one to be remembered for our participants, volunteers and sponsors. The NAGA organization was created to be a source of rehabilitation to help people recover from their amputations. From a humble beginning with twelve men, the organization has grown to more than 2500 members including the Southern Region. In addition to a thriving base, NAGA is proud to offer “First Swing Clinics” to promote the sport of golf to any and all persons recovering from various types of injuries or disabilities. NAGA and its’ affiliate chapters conduct nearly 30 of these clinics each year that reach hundreds of participants. The support of sponsors is always needed to conduct a championship at the highest level. The funds raised will not only go toward the success of our planned events for the Championship, but also to assist our programs like First Swing and scholarships. Both SAGA and NAGA officers and members would like to thank you in advance for your donation and support. Without your aid, our organization could not conduct this event or continue the meaningful programs to assist our members and beyond. Thank you, 2019 SAGA Championship Tournament Committee
