  2. Résumé (no format prescribed, suggested length 1 page)
  3. Application vision (see description in this packet, next page)
  4. A media presentation of audio, images or video, talking about your vision
      or showing you teaching. This does not have to be complicated. It can be
      a video taken on an iPhone, a brief presentation on PowerPoint, or even
      an audio file taken on your phone or some other device.
      •   If audio: maximum 2 files; mp4 or mp3 format only; maximum 5 minutes each.
      •   If images: maximum 20 images; jpeg, PDF or PNG files.
      •   If video: maximum 2 videos; MOV format only; maximum 5 minutes each

Application Vision

it as a story looking back from some time in the future—either a few years or a
few decades. Describe what you’ve accomplished, what has happened. To see
what we mean you can read the Endowment Vision included in this packet, in the
previous pages 4 and 5, as an example. We also have previous winners’ visions
posted at daphnezeposteachingaward.org/winners.

The award administrators are looking for a compelling, achievable vision that
shares an abundant spirit of cheese education.

Two Letters of Recommendation

Please have two letters of recommendation written on your behalf from two
individuals. One page each will do. At least one must be from a member of the
American Cheese Society. Ask the writers to send them directly to the Award
Administrator (info@dzta.org) so they remain private.
