Neighborhood
Boone County is located in the
state of Indiana, with the county seat
being Lebanon, while the largest city
is Zionsville. Lebanon is located in the
central part of Indiana, approximately
30 miles from downtown Indianapolis
and 35 miles from the city of Lafay-
ette. The county was organized in
April, 1830 and is named after noted
frontiersman, Daniel Boone. The
county thrives today from its agricul-
tural heritage and background. It is a
strong member of the corn and
soybean belts in part of the Midwest.

features plenty of the great outdoors
for anyone to explore, with nature
trails, bike paths and fully equipped
family parks. There is plenty of history
to learn about as well. You can spend
time learning how the earliest news-
paper was published in the town of

farm where chocolate milk is
produced. Boone County is truly the
“Heart of It All.”
