This is Joseph Herzog's 3rd year on the staff of the
UC Bearcat Bands. Growing up in Arizona, his decade
of experience in the marching arts started with the
Chandler High “Wolfpack” Marching Band, boasting a
Fiesta Bowl Competition appearance in 2008. Then,
during Joe's four years marching trumpet in the
University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands, he was
honored to be selected for the soprano line of the
2014 Madison Scouts. That summer he had the
privilege of learning from educators like Brad Green,
Blake Daughtrey, Eddie Falcon, Sean Conway and
many others. Joe's teaching style melds the clarity
and precision of drum corps with a down-to-earth, accessible approach to college
marching band instruction.
