MAJORS American University offers a broad choice of majors and minors, as well as preprofessional advising programs. Students may double major or construct their own interdisciplinary major. AU’s flexibility also allows students to have a major in one AU school and a minor in another AU school or college. In addition, more than 40 majors offer the option of pursuing a combined 5-year bachelors/masters program.
