Weekend Parking September & October: $10 cash only at gate.
This lot is closest to all activities unless specified. Follow directional
signage and officers off Columbia Blvd. Lot is locked at 9 p.m.
Weekday parking is available around town. ADA Parking is free with
your sticker in this lot on the weekends.

Bathrooms: There are 3 different groups of facilities. They are
located across from City Hall. Portable options are by the entrance
by the parking lot by 1st Street and next to 2C’s Vendor Mall. ADA
bathroom is available by Parking Lot/Pedestrian Entrance on 1st
Street & Dockside Restaurant.
Food: There are several restaurants in St. Helens by the square.
Vendor carts with delicious foods available on all weekends. Enjoy
the yum!

Spirit of Halloweentown Apparel and Souvenirs are available at
our Official Spirit of Halloween Gift Shop located at Cuts + directly
across from the Courthouse square. Quantities are limited so plan a
stop as early as possible to get your gear. The Gift Shop is generally
open every day during our official Spirit of Halloween celebration.
Some embroidered options are available at Hagz Bagz at 400
Columbia Blvd.
Staying? There are two hotels available in the area: The Best
Western Oak Meadows Inn at 1-503-397-3000 or Motel 6 at Village
Inn Restaurant at 503-397-1490. Deer Island Manor is another
option at http://www.deerislandmanor.com or Nobb Hill B&B
at http://www.nobhillbb.com (this is the only location within
walking distance). Also check out our local AirBnB as a
consideration. Otherwise simply go online for the closest places to
St. Helens, Oregon.
Information: The kiosk in the corner of Courthouse Plaza by the
pumpkins provides information daily.

Mystery Manor Kids Haunted House and “Nightmares” Adult

ShoeString Community Players will host a number of haunted
happenings from tours to dinner theaters and scarecrows that go
bump in the night. Tickets are available at The Rose Garden by
Courthouse Plaza. New this year will be a visit from the show
America Scream featured Haunted Home House extraordinaire.

The Columbia County Museum is a favorite of those who want to
hear about hangings and murders that happened in the Courthouse
Plaza and beyond. Tours of scenes from the movie Halloweentown

Museum of Peculiarities & Oddities
A tongue and cheek collection of odd, weird wonderful stuff.
The museum is located in the South Columbia County Chamber
building at 2194 Columbia Blvd., St. Helens, OR 97051. The shuttle
schedule departs from the shuttle stop at Courthouse Plaza
September 22 ,23 & 29, 30 from 10 – 4 p.m. In October, Wed. –
Thurs. 11 – 2 and 3 – 6 p.m., Fri. 11 – 7 p.m., Sat. 10 – 6 p.m., Sun.
10 – 4 p.m. The shuttle runs on a half hour schedule. $3 per
person. Take the Spooky Shuttle ride from the Shuttle Stop by the
Courthouse Plaza (look for our ghouly stop) or park onsite during
the weekdays.

Seek the Spirit of Halloweentown Coin Challenge.
Get the coolest coin in town when you complete the challenge.
Complete the card by finding the “Spirit of Halloweenown” Squares
displayed at the participating businesses around town. $3 per
adult/child. Under 5 riders are free. During weekdays adult/child
$2. Cash only onsite. Activity time varies but plan on at least 30
minutes. You may want to stop and dine at our uptown restaurants.
Pick up the challenge card when you board the shuttle bus.
The Spooky Shuttle pick up location opens September 22, 23, 29, 30
from 10 – 4 p.m. last ride to downtown. In October, Wed. – Thurs.
11 – 2 and 3 – 6 p.m. last ride to downtown, Fri. 11 – 7 p.m. last
ride to downtown, Sat. 10 – 6 p.m last ride to downtown, Sun. 10 –

Festival of the Fairies at The Riverfront by fenced area at City
Hall
The fall never looked so magical! Come enjoy quality family time at
this fun filled location designed with playful activities in mind within
a mysterious setting. Wear a magical costume or wings, or buy
some onsite. This setting on the waterfront comes complete with
“stone hedge” boulders hosting dragons & fairies resting on arches,
a giant magic wishing tree, fires, hammocks to hang out in, bubble
house, wonder boxes, bigger–than-life games, digging for treasure,
scavenger hunts, hoolahoops, maypole dancing, S'mores by the fire,
mask making, personalized coloring tags to put on your luggage or
the wishing tree, storytelling from the rocks, and Zork Ball Fun

throughout the day. The area is designed for the playful at heart and
there is a lot to do and experience. Sometime you might even see
some goats in pajamas!

Festival of the Fairies daily agenda: 1 p.m. Dance the Maypole.
Sat. – Sun., 2 - 4 p.m. photo with Tinkerbell. Meet a lookalike Sat.
only 1 – 3 p.m. Daeneys Targaryen with her dragon replicas for a
photo op.(it’s too dangerous to bring the live ones) Sat. only 1 – 3
p.m. photos with lookalike character Malificent.
Festival of the Fairies paid admission includes: Fairy wand,
wishing tag coloring activity for the tree or to take home, S ‘mores,
mask decorating to wear or take home, treasure at the dig for
treasure area, wrist or necklace charm from scavenger hunt
challenge. Strollers are allowed - some areas are sandy. Plan on
wearing a costume and participating in our costume contest simply
by being inside the festival area at 2 p.m. Win a cool swag bag of joy!

Single admissions (over 2 years old) $12 includes $5 dollar credit
voucher to spend at The Spirit of Halloweentown Gift Shop. Sorry,
but only 1 coupon per transaction. Small dogs are allowed if carried
by owner. No dogs allowed in area that are not in owners control or
that cause any disturbance to any other guest due to barking,
etc.The Halloween Gift Shop is located near the Courthouse Plaza
Square across the street. Does not include onsite purchase of food

Ride to the Alien Landscape
Take the tractor ride from the shuttle stop at Courthouse plaza to
the alien outpost. At the Outpost you’ll enter and watch some
recorded close encounters and hear some actual police radio reports
of the alien ship that visited St. Helens, Oregon. Hear what our local
law enforcement has to say about an alien encounter and then exit
to an unforgettable alien photo-op. Take the tractor back to
Courthouse Plaza. $5 per person – Children under 3 who lap ride

This is a wonderful street performance with a Magical Cowboy that will leave

1:45 p.m. Look A Like Competition – Courthouse Steps. We’re looking for
people that resemble the original cast from Halloweentown. Is that you? Is
that your friend? Bring them to the steps of the County Courthouse at the
original movie set of Halloweentown and the crowd will decide who looks the
most like Aggie Cromwell, Gwen Piper, Marnie Piper, Dylan Piper, Sophie
Piper, Luke, Kalabar or Harriet. Cash prize $250 for the winning person.

Contest receives a Bag O’ Swag. Karaoke winners will be based on the number

5:30 p.m. This is the big ball presented by Windermere Masquerade Ball at
the Fairground pavilion. Details coming soon.

6 p.m. The Headless Horseman & His Possessed Posse’ sponsored by The
South Columbia County Chamber. Join behind the Headless Horseman as he
leads the “possessed procession” of all things Halloween with you as his
costumed followers along the route. Wait for the horseman at the end of your
street along Columbia Blvd, and then join the walk with your friends in
costume. Once you arrive in the Courthouse Plaza best costumed walkers will
get a chance at winning some crazy cash! Grand prize $250, $100, and
$75.Watch FB at South County Chamber for details and to see the parade in
real time. Bring illuminating accessories and join in with the community
pumpkin lighting celebration that follows. Free.

7 p.m. Pumpkin Lighting Ceremony with Sophie & her little witches.
Courthouse Plaza. A free activity.

7:30 – 9:30 It never looked so Grimm with Captain Sean Renard and Sergeant
Wu. Imagine being surrounded by huge boulders from the underworld
reminiscent of the popular television show Grimm. A bonfire, sipping drinks
