TRAIL BUILDING LED BY FORESTRY COMMISSION SCOTLAND Visit a site with a number of great trails which have been built without landowners permission. Working together we will upgrade a few sections of a trail. We hope this will lead toward a partnership between the landowners and mountain bike volunteer trail builders for the ongoing management and maintenance of the trails. LEE CRAIGIE YOUR CONFERENCE HOST Lee Craigie was an outdoor instructor and child counsellor before turning full time mountain bike racer. She became the British Mountain Bike Champion in 2013, member of Team GB at World and European Championships and represented Scotland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, but the secret to her sporting success lies in her love of exploring big mountains by bike. Fascinated by the places we can take ourselves emotionally by pushing our perceived limits, Lee now rides long distances through wild places self-supported by bike. She is also passionate about fair representation in sport and established The Adventure Syndicate in an effort to offer an alternative female sporting role model and tell compelling stories to inspire, encourage and enable everyone to feel capable of more.
