This rock opera shook the world when it premiered in 1970 and its
power and message are still as strong today! The story is loosely based
on the Gospel’s account of the last week of Jesus’ life, beginning with the
preparation for the arrival of Jesus and his disciples in Jerusalem and ending
with the crucifixion. It is never the wrong time to revisit and experience this
                                            legendary stage show.
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is the first mega-hit from the creators of EVITA, CATS, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING
TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
Jesus Christ Superstar is presented by arrangements with The Musical Company, LP.

Nobody does small town southern humor like Beth Henley.
It’s the early 1980s in the small Mississippi town of Brookhaven, a few days
before the Fourth of July. Carnelle Scott (known locally as “Miss Hot Tamale”)
is rehearsing furiously for the Miss Firecracker Contest—hoping that a
victory will salvage her tarnished reputation and allow her to leave town in a
blaze of glory. This explosively funny play again demonstrates the author’s unique gift for finding rich lodes
of humor—and simple wisdom—in the zany activities of small-town life.
The Miss Firecracker Contest is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
