OUR IMPACT ON CHARITIES One of the key impacts of 10x10’s work is to fund innovative, grassroots charities. However, financial support is only one way we contribute to the charities’ development. We know that the 10x10 experience also provides the charities with credibility and exposure to an entirely new network of young professionals. This exposure facilitates new learnings, connections and opportunities with supporters, mentors, donors and corporates. In 2017 we conducted our first formal survey of past charities to ensure we were delivering on our key impact areas. 70% SAID THEY RECEIVED VALUABLE FEEDBACK AND PITCH COACHING 92% WOULD INCREASES ACTS AS AN RECOMMEND KNOWLEDGE AND 75% SAID THEY RECEIVED VALUABLE 10X10 TO OTHER PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIONS AS A RESULT OF THE EVENT ACCELERATOR CHARITIES DEVELOPMENT “Thank you for supporting us through every step and giving me the opportunity to stretch my comfort zone – it was a truly wonderful experience.” - JODIE TUCKWELL- KNIGHT WEAR FOR SUCCESS 85% SAID FUNDS MADE A SUBSTANTIAL DIFFERENCE TO THEIR ORGANIZATION OVER 50% RECEIVED ONGOING ASSISTANCE ”The funds made a substantial difference and ENHANCES AND FROM AN AUDIENCE OR COMMITTEE MEMBER were used to deliver our 16-week mentoring program to several schools who were on our EXPANDS PERSONAL ”Since our pitch we were able to receive pro bono expert waiting list. OUR IMPACT ON COMMITTEES The key mission of 10x10 is to empower and inspire the next generation to get actively engaged in philanthropic activity on an ongoing basis. CHAIRPERSON/FOUNDER I believe apart from the funds this opportunity provided us with great exposure. Many of the people attending that night had yet to hear about our charity; so to be able to explain and discuss our charity with a new group of people with a philanthropic mindset was a really positive experience. Backpacks 4 SA Kids used the money to assist with purchasing a substantial amount of new toys and provide even more toys to the kids entering into emergency services at Christmas time. In addition to the buying power the funds provided us, we were able to do much better negotiations to ensure we received value for money. 2017 IMPACT REPORT 9

The contacts and part of the Queens Young Leaders Program and from the Australian future supporters that came across Little Dreamers at the community as a runner up for Victorian Young Australian of the Year 10x10 event has definitely assisted with our fast growth in the 2018. Little Dreamers now supports 650 young people every year and past 12 months. has huge plans to turn that into 2,200 young people supported annually by 2019. The best thing about 10x10 was the community of attendees who were open, supportive and giving. These people made me feel welcome in the pitching environment and excited about the opportunities that presented themselves on the night. We - MADELEINE BUCHNER received a large amount of funding from the event along with FOUNDER AND CEO OF LITTLE DREAMERS AUSTRALIA offers for pro bono support from a number of corporates. Ultimately, 10x10 gave us an incredible audience to talk about Young Carers and Special Siblings with and we hope that the attendees got as much out of the event as we did! The 10x10 funds allowed us to run 3 holiday programs in partnership with Ronald McDonald House supporting over 240 children. The young people who benefit from this program are usually between the ages of 6-10 and have an extremely sick sibling. They are often from rural and regional communities and therefore stay at Ronald McDonald House facilities around the 2017 IMPACT REPORT 10

These people really are the heroes of our HERE’S WHAT SOME OF THEM HAD TO SAY... communities who are making change happen everyday. “The funds raised enabled us to fund one of our 8-week “learn to surf” programs for individuals who are really struggling with mental health. I would definitely recommend 10x10, the best thing about 10x10 was being able to be in a room with a group of young professionals that wouldn’t otherwise have heard about our cause.” - MARKMICELLI, ONEWAVE “The impact of 10x10 with all its supporters allowed us to continue to make these beautiful clothes that we make on site as a part of our employment and training program. I would certainly recommend 10x10 for smaller charities. 10x10 allowed us to meet a wide range of people and to access an amazing network of young philanthropists keen to help make sure we can do our best work here in Australia.” - JACKIERUDDOCK, SOCIALOUTFIT “We create work opportunities for young people with disabilities and with the 10x10 funds we created a work experience program for disabled students. I think the biggest thing for us was the network, the connections and the people we met through the process. Getting to connect with young people and talk to them about what we were doing…it was the human connection.” - LAURAO’REILLY, FIGHTINGCHANCE 2017 IMPACT REPORT 12
