Day 3: Sunday, September 26, 2021 Dubrovnik Join a local guide on
a tour of “Old Dubrovnik,” a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the
Franciscan Monastery, where Europe’s oldest pharmacy resides, and
see Dubrovnik’s many historical sites, from Rector’s Palace to the
City Walls. This afternoon, it’s your choice! Join a local expert in
Dubrovnik’s Old Town harbor for a cruise* with magnificent views
of the medieval city walls before visiting nearby Lokrum Island
where you can swim, marvel at exotic plants or take a walk with
peacocks -OR- receive a ticket to access the walls that contain the old

*The Dubrovnik By the Sea/Lokrum Island cruise choice (in Dubrovnik) is dependent
on favorable weather conditions. If the cruise is unavailable, the city wall tickets will

The overall activity level of this tour is a level 3. This means you’re an on-the-go
traveler. You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of
time (1-2 hours) isn’t a big deal. You can navigate hills and uneven ground, climb into
various modes of transportation (tuk-tuk, cable car, Zodiac, etc.), and could possibly
anticipate changes in elevation. You can expect some longer days balanced with free-
time to recharge or set out on your own adventure.
Please be advised many airlines do not provide advance seat assignments until

Trogir
Charming Trogir $60 USD
Travel to the historic town of Trogir. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this coastal gem is renowned for its
picturesque Venetian architecture. Trogir is set on a small island but is connected to the main land by bridge. Located
within medieval walls, admire the prominent stone houses and scenic charm as you tour this historic city with a local
guide. Visit the 13th-century Cathedral of St. Lawrence and admire the sweeping views from its bell tower. Enjoy
free time to discover the city’s hidden nooks and crannies. Perhaps you’ll sit along the seaside promenade and admire
boats slowly meandering by, or consider enjoying a bite to eat in a local café or restaurant. Although Trogir may be
small in size, it makes up for it with its overflowing culture. Duration: Approximately 4 hours. Please note a

Dubrovnik
A Taste of Croatia $115 USD
Journey to Mali Ston and meet an oyster farmer, who will take you on a boat ride through the family’s oyster farm.
Stop at a floating dock bar in the middle of the bay, where you’ll sample local wines paired with fresh oysters and
mussels plucked from the sea. Next, stop by a local winery where another tasting awaits you! Then, travel to a local
family’s home and learn about their production of olive oil. You’ll have the opportunity to taste the fresh oil, try the
vegetables out of their garden, and enjoy traditional Croatian music. As you sample the family wine, enjoy a nice
lunch at their home before heading back to Dubrovnik for the remainder of the day. Duration: Approximately 7

Plitvice Lakes
Tito’s Secret Underground Airbase $30 USD
Set on the border of present-day Croatia and Bosnia lies a secret airbase that once housed some of the most
