Social Events ZKRD International Reception 25+1 | Tuesday June 26, 2018 | 18:30 – 21:00 It has been 25+1 year since the ZKRD, the German National Bone Marrow Donor Registry, was founded in Ulm. We would like to invite our international guests to celebrate this anniversary with an international reception in the Max Joseph Hall, one of the 130 rooms of the Munich Residence. The Residence was once the political and cultural center of former Bavarian dukes, princes and emperors. Built in 1385 as a castle located at the outskirts of the city, the rulers enlarged the Residence over the years, making it the largest city center castle in Germany. Today it is the largest museum complex of Bavaria, a magnificent palace with well-known buildings including the Königsbau, where the Treasury is housed, and ten courtyards of which some are used for cultural events like concerts. Since the International Reception 25+1 is hosted by the ZKRD, it is free of charge for participants registered to the WMDA meetings. In case you wish to add this to your registration, please come to the registration desk. We would be happy to welcome you to a “blithesome” Get-Together in royal ambience with colleagues from all over the world.
