About Unleash the Beast
Bravely peering through the looking glass and sharing a conversation about mental health
Unleash the Beast - A conversation about mental health is a two-day Symposium dedicated to exploring
mental health care in our region. The weekend is dedicated to providing GPs, health professionals and
the community an opportunity to connect and learn through open conversations, which promote mental
health awareness and shares life experiences.
After gaining immense success from the first Unleash the Beast in 2018, Lifeline Darling Downs and
South West Queensland Ltd have partnered with Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN to host this
Symposium again in Toowoomba from 12-13 March 2022. The event will be held at the Armitage Centre,
Empire Theatre.
Unleash the Beast 2022 will be divided into two streams over the Symposium weekend:
GP/Health Professionals Symposium
Saturday, 12 March 2022
The GP and Health Professionals Symposium provides valuable opportunities for delegates to collaborate
with mental health leaders and researchers, gain CPD points through keynote presentations, research
findings and lived experienced speakers. This program provides a fresh perspective of ideas with
knowledge in leading advancements and techniques.
In addition, networking opportunities with exhibitors and sponsors will provide delegates an opportunity to
further build industry relationships and strengthen their knowledge base of local services. The aim of the
Symposium is to improve the care provided to mental health patients and unite industry professionals to
advocate for quality mental health care for all individuals.
Community Day
Sunday, 13 March 2022
The Community Day will bring renowned authors and speakers from all over Australia to Toowoomba sharing
their own stories about how mental health affects us as individuals, as families and as a community.
Community members can expect a full day program dedicated to discussing a diverse range of mental health
topics. Attendees of all ages and backgrounds can engage in conversations in a relaxed manner that builds
trust and respect for mental health while promoting awareness that reduces stigma within the community.

Delegate profile and program The delegate profile is branched across two demographics, the GP/Health Professionals Symposium and Community Day. We can expect all delegates to attend from local areas of the Darling Downs region and to have a strong interest in mental health conditions and wellbeing. the exhibitor courtyard at the end of the GP and Health Professionals Symposium program. All delegates

• The Symposium handbook will be provided to all delegates on registration, advertisements must

Things you need to know
• You as the Sponsoring/Exhibiting organisation accept these terms and conditions when
completing the Online Booking Form.
• The Unleash the Beast Symposium organisers do not accept responsibility for any errors,
omissions or changes.
• Details may change without notice. Please refer to the website for the latest information on the
symposium.
Financial facts
• All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and exclude 10% GST.
• Phone or unpaid bookings will not be accepted.
• We will issue a tax invoice which is payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
• You will not receive any sponsorship or exhibition entitlements until all monies have been paid.
• If you pay by electronic funds transfer or an international cheque you agree to pay any bank
charges and must include these in the amount you transfer.
• If you pay via credit card, a merchant fee may be charged.
If you need to cancel
• You must notify us in writing if you need to cancel.
• Cancellations made before 1 February 2022 will be refunded less 50% of the total purchase price.
• Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded.
• Your non-payment does not cancel your contractual obligations to us.
COVID-19
• Should the Symposium not be able to take place in March 2022 due to COVID19, the Symposium
will be postponed to an alternative weekend. Should you wish not to continue to support the
Symposium, you will have 14 days to request a full refund from time of announcement.
You and your staff—onsite
• Your application to sponsor or exhibit does not constitute an attendee registration. You will need
to do that separately on the Unleash the Beast Symposium website.
• All sponsor/exhibitor staff attending the Symposium must register.
Print entitlements
• Logos must be minimum 300 DPI at 100% in JPEG/PNG (preferred for website) and AI/EPS/PDF
(preferred for print).
• Advertisements are to be supplied by the sponsor by 10 February 2022 to meet our publication
requirements and print deadlines.
Exhibitor notes
• We reserve the right to direct you to remove any display items we deem as unacceptable.
• You must conduct business only from within the confines of your booth. You may not tout, or
place any material, outside your booth/space causing obstruction of the aisles.
• Any supplier you use onsite must conform to the venue’s OH&S, insurance and other regulations.
• You are solely responsible for any physical loss or damage to your own property.
• You must hold a current public liability insurance policy for a minimum of $10,000,000. Please
forward the name of your insurer, your policy number, the insured amount and its renewal date to
us by 1 February 2022. Entry to the venue will be denied if you have not provided this information.
