100 PERCENT // EDITORIAL In the mood for Baden? Just dive in! Dear readers, Have you been to the spa district lately? It’s well worth exploring the area. It’s often more interesting to experience changes at first hand, step by step, rather than just waiting for something new to appear. And there’s plenty happening on the Limmat bend. But dedicated people are also hard at work behind the scenes of the Bäderverein (Bath Association). One major success was the CHF 200,000 in financial support provided by the Federal Office of Culture. to set up the “Baden spa culture” project. One of the key challenges will be to coordinate all the planned and current projects in the spas. For once, we are focusing on local authority projects. Baden is ist When you look across the Limmat, you’ll see Ennetbaden. Our neighbour, which has many links to the city of Baden, is celebrat- ing its 200th anniversary this year. We’ll be joining in. Built as a cinema, these days it is much more focused on music, dance, talks and most of all cultural diversity. Thanks to huge dedication from the many peo- ple involved, an independently operating cultural centre has been created. Read more about this showcase model, which arose out of the centre's interim use. Sport brings people together and teaches valuable lessons about life: how to deal with disappointment, push yourself to your limits, be in tune with yourself, celebrate victories and deal with defeats. Are you involved in sport, or would you like to be? Baden has a vision for sport. More than 80 sports clubs offer every kind of sport you can imagine. A new association has now been set up as a link between sport and politicians. The 100Percent magazine is entering its third year, constantly draw- ing attention to new aspects of Baden.
