Great accuracy and loves to compete. Caden Broersma, Muskegon Mona Shores, QB, 6-4, 195, WMU, and CMU. One of the top QB prospects in the Midwest, Broersma led Muskegon Mona Shores to a Division 2 state runner-up finish this past fall. Broersma ended up 97-of-135 passing for 1,915 yards with 19 touchdowns and only 2020 PROSPECTS - QUARTERBACK one interception. On the ground, Broersma used his three-sport (basketball and baseball) standout athleticism and speed to rush for 1,087 yards on 159 attempts with 18 TDs. Outstanding all-around talent at QB for New Lothrop. Behind Moore New Lothrop captured the Division 7 state championship this past fall. A dual-threat QB, Moore finished this past season throwing for 1,614 yards with 20 TDs and six interceptions, while on the ground, he rushed for 1,533 yards and 22 TDs. A rugged, physical play- er as a QB, Moore has a strong arm and good speed and escapability as a Caden Broesma runner. A natural leader, Moore was named to the Flint Journal Dream Team this past season. Tyler Pape, Parma Western, QB, 6-2, 180. Arguably the top quarterback prospect in the Jackson/Lansing area of Michigan, Pape is a dual threat play- er of the highest order. Named to the Jackson Citizen-Patriot Dream Team as a junior, Pape finished 85-of-131 passing for 1,452 yards and 16 TDs with only four interceptions, while running for 873 yards and a school record 17 TDs. A strong field manager, Pape is skilled with the football in his hands and a player, at least at the high school level, who has been good at moving the chains, taking care of the football and leading his team to victory. At running back this past season, Houston rushed for 1,095 yards on 152 attempts with nine touchdowns. As a receiver out of the backfield, Houston caught 13 passes for 175 yards and two TDs. Defense, though, might be his best position as a shutdown cornerback. Using his speed and quick hips and feet, Houston blankets any receiver he’s assigned to cov- er. As a running back, Amos has sharp cutting ability and an explosive burst once he turns it upfield that can and has been untouchable. His ability to cut on a dime, while accelerating is big-time Division I college football skill. Jaiden Friesen, Rockford, FB, 5-10, 225. The top Fullback prospect in Mich- igan. A true bruiser who fits perfectly in Rockford’s triple option attack. His feet never stop moving as he plows through defenses Myren Harris, Chippewa Valley, RB, 5-9, 170. Top athlete in Macomb coun- ty. Good vison and hard runner. John Shelton, East Grand Rapids, RB, 5-10, 205. Sleeper recruit Theo Ellis, Port Huron, RB, 5-9, 183. Blazing runner who uses his speed and vision to carve up defenses Kobe Clark, Schoolcraft, RB, 5-10, 175. RB that has good speed and great vison on the field. Could play slot at the next level Henry Brown, Warren Woods-Tower, RB, 6-0, 175. Shifty, skilled runner with speed, Brown rushed for 1,659 yards and 18 TDs this past season and was named to the All-Macomb County second team as a junior. Heath Flower, Olivet, RB, 5-10, 185. Natural football player. Flower will be four-year starter for Olivet, a town just north of Battle Creek. Named to the Peny Boone Battle Creek Enquirer All-Area team, Flower rushed for 1,483 yards on 180 carries with 24 touchdowns this past year. An instinctive runner, with sneaky fast speed, Flower always seems to be falling forward and gaining positive yardage. Leroy Quinn, Muskegon Oakridge, ATH, 6-1, 215. Quinn could play on either side of the football at the D-I level -- he’s that good. A starter since his freshman year at Oakridge, Quinn excels in all three phases of the game. As a bruising, physical running back with speed, Quinn rushed for 1,777 yards on 194 carries with 28 touchdowns, gaining 9.2 yards per carry. At LB, where Quinn uses his natural football instincts and power, he finished the year with 54 tackles, eight TFL and one sack, while as a punter, Quinn averaged 38.1 yards per kick. His coach said Quinn, “Is a punishing runner with his size and strength. Defensively, he was a run-stopper from his linebacker position.” Named to the Muskegon Chronicle Dream Team as a junior. Owen Burk, Allendale, RB, 5-11, 195. A head coach’s son, Burk is one of the top running backs in the Grand Rapids area, if not the state of Michigan. Soon to be a four-year starter at Allendale, Burk rushed for 2,096 yards and 30 touchdowns this past season. This past year, Burk was selected to the Grand Rapids All-West first team. What makes Rose so attractive to D-I college football coaches and so effective in the trenches is his toughness, low pad level, ath- letic ability and coordination.
