The certification audit verified processes for tracking material through production and onward, ensuring each partner who touches the material is certified. SAFE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND CHEMICAL USE: Our certifications Eastman Naia™ cellulosic yarn has received the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification as a Class I product, which means it is safe for use in any textile material that has skin contact and is even approved for use in baby articles. This standard certifies the safety of the yarn after the production process. Eastman also assures that Naia™ cellulosic yarn is not made with any chemical substances listed on the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals organization’s “Manufacturing Restricted Substances List” (MRSL).
