The Green Light • Outsourcing had been a possibility for several years – Once the decision was made to keep the func?on in house we wanted to move quickly • New system charter was established mid-‐2006 – Several players were involved • Facili?es and construc?on • I/T • Customer Opera?ons • Installa?on took place November 2007
Lessons Learned • Don’t perform asbestos abatement during a conversion! • Research the Availability of the hardware support prior to changing vendors. • 3690i Scanner aeached to RED51 uncomfortable for operator. Returned one Scanner to OPEX and purchased 2 used RED51’s. • Don’t ‘NOT’ Update! – Cul@vate a rela@onship with your sales associate
Have a Plan • 2007 – Install New Solu?on with ARC Deposits • 2009 – Add a new Client • 2010 updated Image RPS and the Archive – Add ICL Deposits – ICL Returns • Responsible By Nature takes on the Remieance Envelope
Results • ARC provided a 53% savings in bank charges • 27% increase in Same Day Deposits since installing this solu?on. We plan to raise that another 5% this year • ICL deposits provided an addi?onal 16% savings in bank charges • Gradually added users from other business units to the Archive
