WHAT IS A DEPOSIT?
When you decide you’re not traveling to your home resort for
any given week and year, you deposit it into your RCI account so
®
you can exchange for another vacation.
WHEN TO DEPOSIT?
You should deposit as early as possible – up to 2 years in
advance of the check-in date of the week you own. Depositing
early ensures you are able to use your full Deposit Trading Power.
HOW TO DEPOSIT?
The first step is paying your maintenance fees to your home
resort and then determining if you have fixed or floating weeks.
FIXED WEEK:
If you own the same unit and week at the same
resort every year, you own a fixed week and can
typically deposit on RCI.com as soon as you’ve
paid your maintenance fees to your home resort.
FLOATING WEEK:
If the unit, week or resort that you own vary each
year, you own a floating week and will need to get
an assignment from your home resort before you
can deposit.
