Welcome to Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge
Please allow me to explain what makes Cloud 9 a world famous bar.
Cloud 9 is ideally located 40 meters above the river Vltava. From
the front terrace you have a stunning view of the city and of Prague Castle.
In the summer, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset, while sipping
one of our famous signature cocktails. From the back terrace, you can
enjoy the incredible view of the Vltava River flowing through Prague,
the City of One Hunderd Spires, the monument of Jan Žižka on the Vítkov hill
and of the Žižkov tower, which dominates Prague’s skyline.
Cloud 9 is the bar where the famous Charisma cocktail was created
by Roman Uhlíř – Cloud 9’s mixologist, author of two bartending
publications, “Great Book of Cocktail Magic, a Blue and a Black version”.
This cocktail is the signature cocktail for Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge
since 2008. However the history of this beverage dates back to 1999
when Roman was approached by Absolut to create a character cocktail
for Jan Saudek (the famous Czech photographer) as part of their
Absolut Original Collection. Ten years later Roman changed the recipe
slightly by adjusting the ratios of the ingredients, the garnish used
and the method of drinking the cocktail. The result is one of the most
unique drinking experiences we offer today.
Cloud 9 offers the unique Roman Uhlíř ‘Original’ Cocktails, which are
all based on fresh fruits and premium spirits. These cocktails are always
focused on one type of fruit and enriched by a secondary flavor which
further enhances the taste experience. Some of the cocktails are mixed
with exclusive home-made syrups with flavors such as ginger or orange.
Cloud 9 Cuisine presents the latest trends in the Bar Gastronomy
including innovative food concepts and combined platters.
All of which can be enjoyed until midnight.

Championship 2013” and “International Bartenders Association –
Annual Meeting 2013” in Prague.
