THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING YMCA CAMP ORKILA! WELCOME FROM THE CAMP DIRECTOR Thank you for choosing YMCA Camp Orkila for your camper(s) this summer. You have given your camper a true gift: the opportunity to build a community of friends and role models, develop skills and passions, and create confidence and memories. Built on the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, Camp Orkila is a place where campers can truly be themselves. Your camper will be guided through this experience by our talented team of staff, who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, and take pride in helping kids explore, learn and grow. As you prepare for your camper’s summer adventure, please read through this handbook for important information, including specifics about camper drop-off and pick-up, communication with staff, and more.
