SCC’s response to COVID-19 How SCC are working with suppliers and contractors during the ongoing COVID Issues: Our experience with our suppliers and contractors addressing COVID has been fantastic with people taking personal responsibility for their actions. About us The Property Management Branch provides a comprehensive suite of Land and Real Property Management Services, manages Workplace Accommodation, and provides Asset and Maintenance Management services to Councils owned and controlled Building Infrastructure, ensuring that each facility is well maintained and fit for purpose. Corporate and Community Buildings contain various services that require frequent statutory maintenance, including: fire safety systems and lifts; as well as general maintenance, security maintenance, monitoring and patrolling, water cartage deliveries, onsite wastewater treatment systems and aquatic plant room maintenance to name a few. Introduction • Our agreement with Sunshine Coast Council and SunCentral Maroochydore includes $2.5 billion of investment by Walker Corporation into the MCC. • Our role • We are responsible for funding and delivering the majority of future civil works, commercial and retail buildings, residential apartments and most of the remaining infrastructure on the site, including roads and parksa 15 year project pipeline. • We are currently in the project establishment phase: • An interim office has been established in Maroochydore • We will move into our permanent office at Foundation Place in the Maroochydore City Centre in April 2021 • Nine Walker staff are working on the project currently and we are currently resourcing up locally.
