Welcome and thank you for considering The Pear Tree Inn & Country
Hotel to host your Wedding Day.
We are perfectly located just off junction 6 of the M5, tucked away down a
winding country lane between Worcestershire’s picturesque countryside
and rural settings. We are close enough to the motorway for your guests to
travel but far enough away for that middle of the country feel. Set in 20
acres of glorious grounds housing three lakes, just perfect for those special
wedding day photos!
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and careful
planning is essential in order to create that perfect and memorable
occasion. Our experienced staff pride themselves in offering that personal
touch and attention to detail, to ensure that your day is unique and one to
cherish.
With superb food, magnificent reception rooms, a license for civil
ceremonies, twenty five bedrooms and a team of dedicated experts on
hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We invite you to host your
Special Day with us.

We married at The Pear Tree Inn and Country Hotel at the start of August.
Overall, everything was fantastic, we couldn’t fault a thing. The build up to
the wedding was stress free and we were kept up to date with the planning
of the day. The beautiful views throughout the venue helped us capture
memorable photos of our special day. The food was excellent as well as the
service. Donna in particular was a pleasure to work with and a credit to the
Pear Tree Inn and country hotel. We highly recommend this venue for any
future bride and grooms.

Mr & Mrs Davis
Where can we begin? Our wedding day was the most magical, special days
of our lives. We all know these things do not happen without many hands
and hard work. We must start with praising Donna, she really is the glue
that holds everything together. She was there to answer questions and
clear up any anxieties we had during the planning process. On the day she
made sure everything went to plan and ran smoothly so we as bride and
groom could just enjoy every minute.
The pear tree is the perfect venue with beautiful grounds for photos, lovely
classic reception room and even rooms for guests to stay and enjoy
breakfast the next morning. We particularly loved the fact we could stay at
our venue as it kept our day going with all of our family.
Another positive with The Pear Tree is that you can be as involved with the
decorating as you like, they are very flexible when availability allows for you
to have your reception room the day before your wedding to make sure it is
as you have spent so long planning.
We would not hesitate to recommend The Pear Tree to anyone looking for
their own fairytale to begin!!

All the following packages have been created around the wedding breakfast
options, matched with what we believe to be the most suited drinks
package and teamed with a six item evening buffet. All are based on
50 people for the day’s proceedings and an extra 30 people on the Evening.
50 day and 80 evening would be the maximum amount of people we would
advise for The Garden Suite and the minimum we would advise for The
Bartlett Suite.
If you require something different to what is in this brochure please get in
touch with us. Our Wedding and Events Manager has worked on hundreds
of weddings. She is here to listen, help and advise, no question is a silly
question!

Terms and Conditions
BOOKING PROCEDURES
A deposit of £1000 along with the signed Terms and Conditions is required within 14 days of your provisional booking to secure your booking.
Please note that the booking will be considered provisional until both the payment and Terms and Conditions have been received. All deposits
are non-refundable and non-transferable.
In the event of failure to return a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions contract, payment of a deposit to confirm your booking will
constitute acceptance of the Hotel’s Terms and Conditions.
FINAL DETAILS & NUMBERS
3 months prior to the wedding we will require final details including menu selections at which time a pro-forma invoice will be issued for 80% of
the total amount less the deposit paid. This payment is required three months prior to the wedding.
2 months prior to the wedding final numbers will be required at which point the balance will be calculated. This must be paid no later than 1
month prior to the wedding. Final numbers must be in line with the required minimum for your function suite. Please note that you must cater
for all of your guests attending the function for both day and evening. No refund or transfer will be made in the event of any decrease in
numbers, within a two week period of your event.
A credit or debit card will be required for any incidentals taken on the day.
Please note that all deposits are non-refundable/transferable
CANCELLATION
Where a cancellation of an event is made the following charges will apply:
Over 9 months before the wedding date loss of deposit
6-9 months before the wedding date 30% of the anticipated revenue
3-6 months before the wedding date 60% of the anticipated revenue
1-3 months before the wedding date 90% of the anticipated revenue
0-1 months before the wedding date 100% of the anticipated revenue
Confirmation in writing will be required in order to cancel the wedding at which point an invoice will be issued for immediate payment.
The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking in the event of any eventuality which is beyond our control that will prevent the Hotel from
fulfilling its obligations to the client or if payment deadlines are not met by the client.
ACCOMMODATION
A 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking in order to confirm a reservation.
CONDUCT & DAMAGE
The client is responsible for the orderly conduct of their guests and the Management will not, under any circumstances, tolerate any member of
staff being sworn at or threatened. Any guest who does so will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Likewise anybody who does so prior
to the function may have their booking cancelled.
No food or beverage may be served or consumed on the premises unless supplied by the Hotel. Anybody found in possession of any such food
or beverage will be charged the equivalent prices as charged by the Hotel or asked to leave the premises immediately.
The use of illegal substances will be not tolerated on the premises and anybody found in possession will be asked to leave the Hotel
immediately.
The Hotel provides smoking bins outside of the function suites and entrances. Anybody found to be smoking inside the Hotel will be subject to
an on the spot fine of £50.
If a client wishes to fix items to the walls, floors, ceilings or banisters consent must be granted by the Hotel in advance of your function. The
client or their subcontractor will be accountable for any damage caused through negligence and an invoice presented where necessary.
The client shall be held responsible for any damage caused to the premises, linen, utensils or equipment, whether wilfully, neglectfully, by
default or otherwise and will be liable for the cost of repairs and damages arising there from.
GENERAL
The Hotel does not have a serviceable lift on the premises.
Last Orders will be called at 11.45pm with the function and entertainment to finish at midnight. The Hotel does not operate a Night Porter facility
and we would request that you advise your Guests of this in advance.

Should clients wish for any items to be received or held by the Hotel prior to or following any function advance notice will be required. The Hotel
retains the right to deny receipt of such items. Any costs incurred for return will be borne by the sender. All items are left at the owners risk and
may be subject to search. Please note that should any item be locked or sealed, it is the responsibility of the owner of the item to facilitate
access. The Hotel is not liable for any flood, fire or damage to items.
The Hotel will not take responsibility for any personal belongings left unattended including presents or cards left on the gift table.
The Hotel will not be held liable for the loss of any personal belongings and will not contact individuals in respect of lost property. Lost property
will be held at the Hotel for 6 weeks before being discarded
The Hotel prohibits the use of party poppers, lanterns, smoke machines, tea lights and bubble machines. If you would like fireworks there are
strict guidelines which you must follow.
The Hotel shall not be liable for any breach of this contract caused by any event or matter beyond its control including strikes, labour disputes,
fire, riot, flood, energy failure, adverse weather conditions, war and including any other matter in the opinion of the Hotel proving impossible
the performance of the contract but, not being limited to the matters listed her.
Menus may be subject to change should market availabilities dictate.
The Hotel reserves the right to change their Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
All the prices quoted in this booklet are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and are subject to review each calendar year. The Hotel reserves the
right to amend pricing for situations beyond our control. In this event every effort will be made to give the client as much notice as possible.
Should you have any complaints or queries after the wedding these should be submitted in writing to the Manager within 28 days. Any
complaints or queries lodged outside of the 28 day window will be disregarded.
