“Over the past decade, Hans and his leadership team have completely transformed the Hotel at Auburn University into a first class service organization and a hands- on teaching facility for the hospitality and culinary sciences program. We could not have selected a more trusted and exemplary partner to enrich our students and to elevate the reputation of the entire university. I am so proud of our teamwork and the results we have achieved with Hans at the helm.” Dr. June Henton Dean Emeritus, Auburn University College of Human Sciences
“Working with Hans and his team was the perfect example of the private / public relationship the University had been missing for the hotel program. We anticipated the performance of the hotel would benefit greatly from talented and experienced hotel operators and the results have far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel has become the social center we had always envisioned it would become.” Don Large Former Executive Vice President/CFO, Auburn University

ITHAKA C.P. CAVAFY As you set out for Ithaka hope your road is a long one, full of adventure, full of discovery. May there be many summer mornings when, with what pleasure, what joy, you enter harbors you’re seeing for the first time; Keep Ithaka always in your mind. Arriving there is what you’re destined for. But don’t hurry the journey at all. Better if it lasts for years, so you’re old by the time you reach the island, wealthy with all you’ve gained on the way, not expecting Ithaka to make you rich. Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey. Without her you wouldn’t have set out. She has nothing left to give you now. And if you find her poor, Ithaka won’t have fooled you. Wise as you will have become, so full of experience, you’ll have understood by then what these Ithakas mean. Ithaka Hospitality Partners 241 S.
