The Boats and Floats flotilla scheduled for August 22 is still pending the location as we await the de- cision on the Maritime Festival. Stay tuned… we’ve got a couple of floating islands ready for air and occupants! As for the Bremerton Cruise over Labor Day, I’m sorry to say that it will be cancelled. This decision was based upon the transition of the Blackberry Festival into a drive-thru event only, located away from the marina. With Kitsap County currently in Phase 2 (no groupings of over 5 people) and the additional restrictions placed last week on going to restaurants and other gathering places, the lo- gistics were very limited for a 4 day weekend. We are still working on perhaps another local flotilla for some time during that weekend for folks who would still like to gather. I’ll keep you posted. And finally, we’ll make a decision of the Poulsbo Cruise (September 18-20) in August, but we are hoping we can get in the last scheduled cruise of the year. Thank you to our Harbormaster, Lance Ulsh, as he will be placing new social distancing signs and hand sanitizer stations on the dock in the near fu- ture. Please remember, if you cannot be six feet apart on the dock, to wear your mask as outlined by our state mandates.
