During these days, the Island will become a meeting point for African, European and American companies and institutions, where they will be able to share experiences and success stories. It will be the perfect exhibition frame where all the governmental and business organisations linked to green energies come together, and where the business sector presents its products and innovations. In addition to companies, investors and policymakers, we have invited international bodies such as the European Commission, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREE), the National Electricity Office, the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN), and the National Office for Electricity and Potable Water (ONEE), as well as other international bodies.

How has Africagua succeeded in its consolidation and becoming an international benchmark? Africagua contributes to the internationalisation process of Canarian economy by making it possible to show the great potential in knowledge, experience and know-how in renewable energies and water treatment that companies in this archipelago have. It has also been established as a benchmark within the strategy of the Canarian Government to convert the Canary Islands into a Hub towards Africa for Canarian, national, European and American companies.
In this context, this event has become an effective instrument with a full programme of conferences for companies to take the leap into the African market, fostering collaboration between companies from the water and renewable energy sectors of the different participating countries, sharing experiences, success stories, and establishing strategic alliances. Within the renewable energy and water sector, all these factors make Africagua one of the Canary Islands Networking events with the greatest international impact for both the public and private sectors.
