URBANICE : SDG CTITIES ROADMAP

 About Malaysia SDG Cities Roadmap
 Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cities &
 Community Wellbeing (URBANICE) The Malaysia SDG Cities recognizes that cities and
 communities are crucial in determining its own set of
 • URBANICE is currently preparing Malaysia SDG
 priorities and decides on the means of implementation
 Cities Report at local level. to ensure that the SDG Goals and targets are met.
• DOSM is invited to contribute in the preparation of
 Malaysia SDG Cities Report. The framework is set to encourage a bottom up
 • DOSM provides data as an input to the report approach in developing local action plans that will
 accelerate the SDGs achievements for Malaysia where
 the 17 SDGs and its 169 targets of the 2030 Sustainable
 Agenda must be achieved.

 Working with Shah Alam City Localizing the global goals at cities and urban areas is
 Council (MBSA), Alor Gajah important for an urban nation like Malaysia and the
 Municipal Council (MPAG) & Malaysia SDG Cities will ensure that vertical integration
