The partners, whose main objective is to ensure that people in vulnerable situations have access to essential community services, have met regularly to coordinate their responses in order to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Working committees have also been formed to facilitate the implementation of certain strategies. The Committee members moreover established an action plan based on the needs of each target clientele, including homeless people, seniors and people with reduced mobility as well as female victims of violence and their children. Every effort has been made to ensure that a social safety net is maintained for people in vulnerable situations in Laval.
