Known as the Art Deco capital of New Zealand, Hawke’s Bay arose from the
devastation and rubble of the 1931 earthquake to shine with its Art Deco architecture.

Over the years it has become a popular tourist destination where people can come and
enjoy a weekend, return to the past and relive the Art Deco era.
