A little bit about us. Don’t be fooled by our small size. Being situated among the trees on just one city block has its perks, like our cozier, more connected campus, and the water views within walking and cycling distance. Back on campus, small class sizes mean better access to your professors. When introductory class sizes are as small as 40 students, learning beyond the lecture is an option for everyone. For over two centuries, Saint Mary’s University has been helping students like you along their path to future success—no matter what that might be. Hey, Halifax If Nova Scotia is Canada’s Ocean Playground, then Halifax is its theme park. A seaside city like no other, Halifax is the province’s largest city and cultural hub, and home to all-you-can-explore dining, shopping, and entertainment. Spend an afternoon along its nearly 4km boardwalk, see your favourite bands perform live in the fresh salt air, or take in the tunnels of an 18th century fortress in the heart of the city. Whatever you’re into, Halifax is here for it. Dig into Dartmouth Hop on a ferry and head over the harbour to downtown Dartmouth, where the East Coast culture continues. Known locally as the City of Lakes, a day in Dartmouth is a cure-all for those craving great food, farmers’ markets, local art, or a dip or two in one of its many beautiful lakes.
