Restoring Faith in Alabama Scott Dawson for Governor “We’ve kicked the can down the road for so long now, we no longer have any road left.” We can do better. No, we must do better or Alabama will never emerge from the bottom of nearly every meaningful statistic that counts. Join me, as we cast a conservative vision for the next generation and together, we’ll put an end to decades of business-as-usual and make things right. We MUST stop electing career politicians. Scott Dawson has never run for office before. He is an outsider’s outsider. Unlike the politicians who owe their careers and lifestyles to big-money and special interests, Scott Dawson is not beholden to any group or association in Montgomery or Washington, D.C. Alabama needs hope. We need to restore faith in our leadership, faith in our communities and faith in our future. For forty years, we’ve elected politicians who have all the answers and yet we have the same problems. Alabama has been fighting the same problems since Fob James was first elected Governor in 1978: corruption, struggling schools, overcrowded prisons and crumbling inadequate roads.
