Introduction Vocals in the art of music are the strains of notes that come out of the human voice. Vocals are the most popular type of music, because they can be performed anywhere without any additional tools [1 ]. Every human being has a different vowel. This is influenced by differences in the shape and ability of the human voice-forming tools to one another. The limit of the tone area that can be voiced by a person is called sound ambitus. Basically, not all classical Western vocal techniques can be used in all types of music. Choir is music that originates from the human voice sung together with harmony and various timbre such as soprano, mezo soprano, alto, contralto, tenor, baritone, bass. The essence of the choir is to sing together regularly and planned, at a certain time and place on a regular basis. The choir is a vocal group which in its appearance is divided into several sound tracks, each of which is the voice of soprano, alto, tenor, bass (SATB). Vocal music is one of the musical activities that are often carried out by the community, because in general, vocal music uses lyrics so that it is easier for the public to understand. This musical activity is often referred to as singing. Singing can be done by one person (solo), two people (duet), 2 three people (trio), four people (quartet), and so on until there is also what is called a vocal group, which is singing together in a group that is generally 7 to 7. 15 people. In addition, there is also what is called a choir group, where the choir generally consists of 20 or more people who form a group and sing together in the group. A choir or choir is a presentation of vocal music that combines various colors of sound into a unified whole and can show the soul of the song being sung. The choir is sung simultaneously to form a harmonious harmony. The choir can also be changed using instrument accompaniment or without using instrument accompaniment or commonly known as acappella [2]. The choir consists of various types, namely: a Content from this work may be used under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence. Along with the development of science, especially in the field of music the public's interest in forming a choir is also very high. This can be seen from the number of choir groups that exist today, where each group of choirs is formed with different backgrounds and goals, starting from the choir that moves within the scope of spiritual songs, choirs that aim to follow choir festivals to commercial choirs. In addition, currently 3 choirs have also been implemented in schools and colleges, some of which make choral lessons in learning and some are making choir lessons as extracurricular activities in schools and colleges. One of the choirs in tertiary institutions in Medan is the Solfeggio Choir Choir. The Solfeggio Choir Choir is one of the Student Activity Units (UKM) at the State University of Medan (UNIMED). As one of the UKM, this choir has the aim of bringing the name of Unimed at the national and international levels by participating in various choir festivals and making many achievements. Apart from that, this choir often performs important events in Medan and Unimed it self. The basis for the formation of the Solfeggio Choir choir from the Student Community of the Medan State Teacher Training Institute (IKIP) - State University of Medan with the Vision and Mission of Service and towards being professional and at the same time increasing the creativity of Medan State University Students. Adopted from the words hearing, feeling, reading and playing, "SOLFEGGIO" instills this meaning in every member in it. The Choir was established in 1991 on the campus of the Medan State Teaching and Education Institute (IKIP) and is currently called the Medan State University (UNIMED), has done a lot of regeneration. The large number of members who joined and the selection of songs was carried out with variations by Lamhot Basani Sihombing who acted as the Choir Advisor [3]. In addition to routine services, this choir also fills formal and informal events that have been held at home and abroad, it cannot be denied that on the way the Solfeggio Choir participates in various choir festivals and there are various obstacles that this choir often faces, although In the end, these obstacles became lessons for this choir. The constraints that are currently occurring are limited activities due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Many efforts have been made to prevent Covid-19, one of which is physical distancing, but physical distancing causes some activities to be delayed. The Solfeggio Choir also feels the impact of physical distancing, with physical distancing, Solfeggio Choir, who practiced almost every day for the Festival, now cannot meet physically. Based on these obstacles, Solfeggio choir created a program called Virtual Choir, Virtual Choir is a form of choir that uses technology assistance as a medium for making music in a choir, so that the Virtual Choir is unique because usually the choir sings in the same environment and looks at each other. face to form a harmony, but with the concept of virtual choir, singing can be done from different places without being face to face [4]. In performing virtual choirs, singers are asked to record their voices in their respective homes from various regions, then they are combined and synchronized in one video to form a Virtual Choir. By doing a virtual choir, it is hoped that the Solfeggio Choir team members will continue to progress in singing, the expected feedback from the audience is that it is expected to appreciate the work, and the audience can pray together through this song, it can also inspire and entertain the audience to remain productive in the midst of current conditions. this. The development of information technology, especially multimedia technology, has now grown rapidly so as to make human life now very easy and enjoyable. These developments are very easy to find. One of the fields that can be integrated with the development of the multimedia field is music. In this case, an example is the video clip which is often used as a medium for introducing and promoting the work of musicians around the world. With a video clip, a band will easily promote their works. It cannot be denied that entertainment is a basic human need other than food and clothing. Therefore, many kinds of entertainment have sprung up, ranging from games, television shows, recreation areas, shows and other entertainments. Show is entertainment that many people like. For example, musical performances, whether it is watching directly or enjoying it on television. This is what underlies me to 2

Every video clip maker must have a character in the technique of making video clips [5]. Starting from simple techniques, animation, green screen, and other techniques. Adobe Premiere is one of the most popular and widely used video editing software. There is a common interface with Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects is to provide ease of use, images can be created with Adobe Photoshop and special effects can also be prepared from adobe after effects [6-8]. In this article I will explain the tool functions in Adobe Premiere. The explanation is equipped with an image that makes it easy to understand the contents of the article. Adobe Premiere is a program that is commonly used by production houses, televisions and practitioners in their fields. The advantage of learning to edit video using Adobe Premiere is that this program is easy to learn and in no time. You can reach the advanced level even if you are still a beginner. Premiere Pro's main function is even more effective for composing images, video and audio, not for animation. In order for your multimedia appearance to be more attractive, you should also study other animation and graphic software such as 3D Studio Max, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and other multimedia utilities. The above problems can be known precisely and accurately without having to eliminate the existing obstacles, research is needed as an effort to use Adobe Premier Pro software in making virtual choir videos at the UNIMED Solfeggio Choir 2. Method This research was conducted at the State University of Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The research method in this design is to use a design model that is procedural, namely research on descriptive research that explains a sequence of rational steps, qualitative data is used because the assessment of a virtual video cannot be objectively assessed [9]. The qualitative method was chosen because the data needed by the writer to design a multimedia work in the form of a virtual video choir that can only be obtained through informants, is based on the power of narrative and is directly reviewed in the field. From the usability and data needs, the methods used are interviews and book references related to virtual video choir. As for the steps in this study using Adobe Premiere software to produce a virtual choir product that is suitable for use and according to needs, it is necessary to take a research approach [10]. In general, the research model is a suitable method for testing a product. The steps of this research stage are as follows: 1. Conducting preliminary research which includes: 1) Perform needs analysis 2) Identify the characteristics of the choir members. 2. Making a video design, which includes: 1) Manuscript making 2) Making a storyboard 3) Making flowchartview 3. The collection of materials which includes: 1) Making and collecting images (images) and animation 2) Video and audio recording and collection 4. The use of Adobe Premiere Software, namely: 1) Individual video collection 2) Merge individual videos into virtual video choir. 3) Virtual choir video editing 5. Virtual choir video review and revision 6. Virtual choir video product trial 3
