Professional Development System launched in June 2020 to automate the conduct of teacher training. The system allowed automation of training sessions with quality still being ensured by requiring participants to pass a test before certificates were issued. f. DepEd Learning Management System (LMS) released in October 2020 to facilitate the conduct of virtual classes where teachers could monitor the different tasks assigned to learners. Also allows teachers to conduct online quizzes to assess the effectiveness of the learning continuity plan. The LMS is stillin the process of being released to teachersand learners. g. E- books with Filipino Sign Language (FSL) are currently being produced to ensure that deaf learners are not left behind. h. Online tutoring sessions targeted at guiding parents on how to assist their children , initiated in January 2021. These sessions have been attended by as many as 1.4M participants and are now being conducted for K-12 subject areas in three major dialects. i. DepEd’s procurement program shifted towards devices that would equip teachers with the tools they would need to conduct blended learning.
