UDIA SA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Property Development and Project Management Course Essential skills to advance your career | Learn from experts sharing their knowledge COURSE OUTLINE PURPOSE To provide the basic skills, knowledge and terminology required to work within the urban development industry. The course will provide an overview of the tools needed to navigate through the development process and will clearly define the various roles which make up a project team. Key concepts will be provided in case study format. TARGET MARKET Graduates and current personnel working within the development industry (both entry-level and advanced) seeking to enhance graduate programs or on-going staff professional development. FORMAT Six daily modules, with 2-3 topics per module, will be covered over a six week period. The course is delivered in a classroom style by experienced South Australian practitioners. The sessions will be held at UDIA, from 8.30am – 4.00pm. All sessions, course notes, lunches and morning teas will be included in the course fee, as well as a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ after the completion of the course. Each participant will receive copies of notes for each module which will relate to the on-screen presentations provided by each presenter. PATHWAY & CPD Through a partnership with Swinburne University of Technology, upon completion, participants are able to enrol with Swinburne and through the recognition of prior learning, gain a Diploma of Project Management. The University will guide applicants through the process and more detailed information is provided upon registration.
